She's so talented, she's the only one who can really emote. I hope she storms it.

I'm in good company here.
She's surprised me on this show and has shown a really emotional and vulnerable side to her. I would really like her to go far on the show. She was great last night and it was the only song that I really connected with. Well done Tara...you go girl.

I have to say I think she was still pretty good again tonight. As for Craig I get the impression sometimes (as in other reality shows) if the judges are gushing in praise one night they then attempt to balance things up the next night. In my opinion she should be favourite (I wished I had taken 25/1 after the opening show) although I hope this does not filter through as she herself probably thinks of herself as an outsider. Being favourite would be a pressure she could do without.

I was a bit (very slightly) disappointed tonight ("Another Suitcase"). I think the crowd's enthusiasm made her too happy towards the end, if that makes sense.
She was great this morning in her lesson with Carrie, though. She had me in tears. ... Comments on her in the "Fourth Show - Discussion Thread" here. (Hi, Voodoo Child, JTW, thenetworkbabe) |

I've never liked her, found her too OTT and normally assumed rightly or wrongly, she has been high on drink or drugs in her other tv performances. But I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised now, seeing her in the academy, being more serious, and seems a genuinely pleasant girl, who just wants to be liked, and to be good at what she is doing. Tonight's performance was very moving, and I am now converted. Good luck to her.

It would do her confidence so much good to win. Does anyone remember her colums in the Sunday Times when she was an It girl. I thought they must be ghost-written, but later found out they weren't. They were very funny, although then I just wrote her off as a spoilt, indulged rich kid.

![]() I daresay a lot of that she still has at her disposal....but totally moved me on this show was her almost discast of all of that, and just to be acceptable. That is good in my book. It shows that no matter who you are and what class you come from.....there is a basic leveller...and that is one of being accepted by people. She's the fastest learner on the planet..our Tara. And for that, I'm totally proud of her...because that is what is coming across to me on this show

It would be nice to see her go all the way to the final

I think Tara's wonderful - and I never thought I'd say that
She made me cry last night, there's something very moving about the way she sings. And underneath, she does have an interesting voice. I can't help but think she'd come out with a very interesting CD if anyone put her in a recording studio! Only problem is her chest probably isn't big enough for Richard Park............ (PS Tim was utterly robbed last night!) |
