Sometimes it does a contestant good to be in the bottom two - it makes them pull their socks up and galvanises their fans into action.

Imo its between Ray and Tara for the final - with Ray just ahead at the moment.

Being in the bottom two could be enough to give her the impetus to try even harder, plus she could also benefit from the bounce vote.

What song did Sarah Cawood say Tara would sing tomorrow? She spoke too quickly for me to make it out!

Trisha, Tara, Fred in bottom 3

Craig and Lesley voted to save Trisha; Richard would have saved Tara.

Students voted (all but Colin) voted to save Tara.

So Fred went.

It wasn't lack of sleep - the first performance was still good enough to keep her out the bottom three. Did you really think it was worse than Ray, Angellica and Fred (Shaun gave his usual totally soulless kitchen sink performance as well). Ray has this fanbase which enjoys voting for what I described as a talent vacuum and the others get sympathy votes when the judges attack them. It has nothing to do with singing ability. Second time round in my opinion Tara gave the performance of the night and Craig and Lesley were wrong to favour the insipidness of Tricia. It is a lost cause I am afraid - I feel really sorry for her.

No, it is only a lost cause if everyone takes that attitude. It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I think the voting varies depending on who was in the bottom three the night before. Tomorrow, people who thought Tara was safe will vote for her. Angellica is getting a bit of a sympathy vote, but that could die off now that she's been saved twice. Ray Stubbs seems a nice guy and has a good following. I'm not sure why Colin keeps getting through, the only performance I've liked by him was the Greenday song. Anyway, lets keep our fingers crossed for Tara and keep voting for her!!!

Explain how she can possibly win when she produces performances of a consistently higher standard than the others but the general public still vote for people who are useless?

I wish I shared your optimism.

Who was Tara talking about on the live stream? She seemed unhappy with someone.

(Seems, from the thread about tonight's show, to be Colin.)

She has felt the wrong end of the public vote ONCE. Not enough to lose sleep over, and not enough for you or anyone else to throw in the towel.

Look at Angellica - scraped it last night, sailed tonight.

Things change, people (for whatever reason) bounce back.

Yes, Ray should really have gone before now, I really can't see him hanging in there much longer. I can't believe that if the tables are turned tomorrow, TPT will vote to save Colin.

Probably Colin? She certainly seemed to rush off stage pretty quickly from the Results show.

Colin. Apparantly she has been picking up vibes from him that he didn't like her - don't think he does.

She tackled him about it last night and that is why they stayed up so late - sorting it out. They didn't quite get that across on the show though - bad edit for Tara tonight they made her look the party girl - which she obviously is - however last night it was more about tackling the demons that she and colin had about each other.

Have to say personally I would have had a stand up row with colin if I was in there - such as ar@e

I just hope Tara doesn't get a Big Brother edit tomorrow to highlight her "bitching" and the conflict with Colin. I thought she had a questionable edit tonight because, out of all the things she said, many worried, self-deprecating, or fun / quirky (such as doing a handstand when Keving was talking to her), they picked the few where she thought she might win.

She needs to get a good night's sleep and not let Colin get to her!

She's looking so tired on the live stream right now!

Remember the golden rule - if you don't vote, you can't complain if your favourite goes out.
YOUR vote could have been one of two or three that could have made a difference to the voting, so you'd better vote tomorrow night.

Think it was "Somewhere Only We Know" by Keane. Not too keen on the song myself but I think it could be good for Tara.

I love that song and it's very powerful. Tara will do it credit. She was fantastic tonight

I watched a lot of the livefeed today and remember thinking that they could give her a good or bad edit given she was shattered this morning. I think she did herself credit though when she openly admitted that she had been drinking half the night. It gave it the human appeal that she's got flaws and is far from perfect. I think all of that adds up along with her total vulnerability when she sings.

I do see your point though about the whole Colin episode..they could show him in a good light and her as an uber bitch when in my opinion, she's spot on about him.

Tricia's being good with Tara. Colin seem to have finally gone off to bed.

...

On the brighter side, Fred was saying great things about Tara in the BBC3 show. (And Mel said she wanted Tara to win last night.) There's still a lot of positive feeling for her, and I think she has a good chance tomorrow if she gets some sleep.

but will she? She really needs a good sleep but does seem stressed out. Another wine should knock her out..hopefully.

I have a feeling she's not a morning person.

She may be like me when it comes to sleep. When I need sleep, I can stay up for ages. I'll be a mess the next day ... and stay up again. A glass of wine doesn't necessarily make one sleepy either, and Tara seems to be getting livelier.

At least she and Tricia switched from talking about Colin to other things such as how Tara felt with her parents there.

But it's looking dark-ish in the room. (Angelica seems to be there as well now.) It could all we winding down ...

errm....doesn't look like it's winding down at all on livefeed just now. The three of them are having a bit of a laugh..which is good to see. So long as they keep off the Colin topic, then they can't give her a bad edit..well hopefully

I have to say that Tara really has bonded with Tricia and Angelica (though I'm a bit suspicious to Angelica now after rolling her eyes at the cameraman during an earlier conversation and Tara confiding in her. But that said, I do prefer the 3 girls bonding and camaraderie between them to any of the males so far.
