I think he's fantastic on this. I never knew he was such a cool dude! Not sure about Strangers In The Night though. I really liked his "mod father " vibe with The Jam, The Who etc. I suppose he needs to get out that "comfort zone".

Knowing your history with Stubbsy, I don't think he'll be singing "Strangers in the Night" about you Mich!!!

I was shocked he got through (disloyal I know!), but thought he was much better in the group performance, he juset needs to let go of the nerves!

First time I've posted in here. Have to admit I was a little worried. I'm sure with a little more practice he could have nailed that song, I really thought it suited his voice.

The only two yet to be bottom three, its not impossible, but I think Ray got away with that one a bit tonight...mind, if that doesn't get him into the bottom three, what will.
I'd love to see him do Somebody Told Me by the Killers - it would be something else.... |

![]() I hope so. As I said in another thread they're the only ones who really seem to be doing this for the "right" reasons. There are far too many in there that are inittowinit.

I hope Ray gets an up tempo song for Mondays show. A test of his popularity was tonight when he struggled with the song but still coasted through. Somebody Told Me is actually a very good shout for a song for Ray.

would be a really good song! Ok, he's not the best singer but at least he knows this comp is about having fun and making money for charity! no pitiful desperation for a recording contract, and he takes criticism from the judges with real class! |

I think he is doing what he can while he is in there, but once out i think he will not give it a second thought. I like him as a person, and would prefer him to beat Colin, , Fred and Angellica, for those reasons. Those three think they are better than they are imo.

What I like the most about Ray is his modesty, exemplified by the look of total shock on his face every time he makes it through.
He seems like a really nice unassuming guy who is in it just for a laugh and to make some money for charity. And unlike some of the others, he is not using Fame Academy to raise his profile. I would really like to see him win because of this. Go Ray Go. |
