You obviously know very little about Mobiles and are new to them, how long have you had a mobile? I bet its not many years. I'm not going to get into a debate with you but just remember how much Nokia have done.

- First Changeable Covers (Expresson Covers)
- First phone with inbuilt camera (very common now)
- First phone that played "real tones" (very common now)
- Brought gaming to mobiles with "Snake"
- First phone capable of taking videos
- First phone with built in GPS

and much more, they still own 36% of the market dispite there now being brands on the market that were not around in the late 90's such as LG and Samsung.

To respond to the orginal poster, i would hold of until end of month when you should be able to get your hands on a Nokia N95. Feature wise the only thing it does not have is touch screen, but wait pacman, have a look at what direction Nokia want to go for there mobiles in the near future. Clicky Nice no?

Nokia's are some of the finest made mobiles available, such as the Nokia 8800, Nokia N80, lets go back a few years, Nokia 5110, Nokia 3210... o and the Matrix phone...

Thanks for the link Quackers, that video was dope! I like that you can change every view and stuff, I just hope not every new phone will be touchscreen, I find them not very accurate and more annoying than anything

Nokia N73 is very very good. You can upgrade the firmware to a ME (music edition) and have the same functions as SE walkman phones. The only downside is the cam is a bit slow compared to SE. It also supports lots more software expansion and a max 2gb mini sd card which is cheaper then sony memory cards. The phone also supports 3.5 mm jack if you buy the ad-41 data cable for it.

I've had 5110, 3310, S.E K700i, Samsung D600 and my new Sony Ericcsson K800 is the best I've ever had. Excellent camera, reasonably fast OS, nice feeling phone. Only down side is the battery life and I'm waiting for the joystick to fail!

Best phone I have had is the Sony Ericsson W880i I got last week. I had the K750i before which was good but the joystick kept sticking. But this has lots of great features plus the camera is a lot better than K750i and it so slim for a 3G phone. The only slight down side are that its only got 1 game and there is not torch/flash which was handy. But these are pushed aside with the 1gb m2 stick which means you can get quiet a few mp3 on it plus there is a cable you can get which means I be able to use it in Aux on my Ford instead of buying a mp3 player.

I cant see any phone at the moment with a multitouch screen! But 2mp is quite behind, proboly put there to keep it thin.

I agree. I couldn't understand statements at the time from Apple saying it's 10 years ahead of it's time. With a 2MP camera and no 3G!? It looks like a fine enough product, but statements like that are just stupid.

The first commercial camera phone complete with infrastructure was the J-SH04, made by Sharp.
