What do you mean by 'FC Presale'?
Edit: Never mind - I've woken up now. Thanks for the dates. Last edited by bealze : 05-03-2007 at 08:05. |

Excellent news. All I have to do now is ask my father-in-law if I can use his credit card friday. Mine is full.

Any chance of extra London dates added? I'm at a stag do on the 8th? Surely they must do more than one??

Here is the EU tour venue & date list (should get updated if any more London dates are added):

Strange decision to do the NIA and then Twickenham don't you think?

Could it possibly be to do with venue availability? Probably need Twickenham to be on a Saturday whereas indoor arenas can be on a weekday.

As Twickenham is open to the elements, it probably needs to be in there sooner rather than later - and perhaps that was the first available date. Mind you, with our weather, would it make a difference?!

I was really pleased to see that they have added a Cardiff date, one of our local hotels The Juries Hotel have increased their weekend rate from £70 to £180
So if anyone is planning on a weekend in a Cardiff hotel had better start planning now. Especially if you are coming from "over the bridge". |

I don't know what the prices are like in the other places, but for Twickenham, they range from £45 for the upper tier, to £70 to £90 everywhere else. Frankly I think that's a complete rip-off. Of course, one could buy pre-sale tickets by joining the Police Tour Fan Club for the pricely sum of £53 on top of the ticket cost but that's just taking the p*ss!
I've seen the Police many times in the past as I used to work for the record company, and was really looking forward to seeing them again, but not at these prices

Got my tickets. Excellent seats to be had in the presale. More shows will be added for certain.

Got tickets in the pre-sale too. It's my mum who wants to go, and she decided we might aswell join the fan club (for the rip-off price) and get decent seats (block 14 at Twickenham...which looks pretty good). If we went for general sale, it is highly likely we'd have rubbish seats - as is normally the case!

Call me a cynic but these guys (like others) are just topping up their pension. Getting fans to buy expensive fan club membership to get seats early really is taking the p*ss.
Needless to say I shan't be going. |

Hopefully they will bring out a DVD of the performance (in order to make yet more money) so I'll have to contain myself until then. I'm very disappointed at the whole scam of joining the Police Tour Fan Club just to get decent tickets early.
I guess this is something the promoters have dreamed up as it isn't actually the Police Fan Club which must have been disbanded years ago.

Many miles away, something crawls from the bottom of a dark, Scottish lake.....
And it isn't a Police concert.... Gits. Loved them.

Actually, the above hysterical posts are not correct.
The presale for fan club members was for certain blocks only and in all price bands. When joining the club - it actually says that membership isn't a guarantee of a ticket. It was by no means a way of getting the best tickets, the fan club had a small allocation of ticket blocks and some good seats haven't been sold yet. The only presale tickets available for Birmingham now are in the upper tier, and I know that some seats on the floor and in the lower tier haven't been sold yet...... Remember who told you here that the tour was happening, way before a public announcement, when you all doubted me, so you can trust me when I say there are good seats to be made public on Friday, so don't give up. Add also that extra shows will be added with no presale and no prior announcement, so the chance of getting tickets increases still..... Last edited by living proof : 07-03-2007 at 22:04. |
