I sort of agreed with you a bit very early on in the week, especially when he asked how to spell Snickers for his shopping list, and looked totally uncomprehendingly every time Ruby spoke, BUT, he has grown on me. I think he is a thoroughly nice guy who genuinely felt out of his depth for the first day or so. No, he's not a genuis but he's not terribly thick either. He has had some witty moments. For instance when Ruby was lying on top of Kwame and said how comfortable it was, he decided to try it and agreed it was incredibly comfortable. He then said 'they should make beds out of dead people'. Black humour, I know, but it made me laugh.

Still want Ruby to win tonight though, and by the way, was anyone else livid when Carrie said that Will and Kwame were better than all the original students except Lemar?

I don't think he is very bright, he has the odd funny comment but he seems to have no idea how to have a conversation. Most of his conversations consist of him just talking at someone about himself. He is very self - obsessed. I noticed at breakfast this morning Ruby was looking very bored indeed and I'm sure she's thinking she couldn't take more than a day of this. Most of what she was saying was going straight over his head. At least with Kwame she got a bit of intellectual stimulation.

I'm sure you must have said this with a heavy dose of irony Zazza.

To be fair zazza, Will doesn't claim to be anything other than what you see. He drinks beer, and he gets drunk. So does my Dad, but that doesn't make him a bad person. You say, "Come on, the guy can barely string a sentence together". Well, take a look at all the spelling mistakes and badly written text in your opening post. It should be "doesn't" and "English" should be capitalised. I wonder what makes you think he's ignorant. Does he go around condemning people in order to mask his shortcomings ?

Will makes himself understood, and that's all that matters. I'm sure none of the participants in Fame Academy opened themselves up to such scrutiny for charity thinking they would be subjected to a character assassination. I do think it's uncharitable to pull them apart in such a way.

Doesn't "intellectually" have only one "i"?
