It was in the Sun paper today that 'Fans' of the show have been turning up to watch the filming of the court scenes and have been shouting out 'murderer' and other things to the actress playing Tracey, so much so that the producers have got her a bodyguard to protect her.

Do these people not realise that it is a SOAP?? Not REAL LIFE??

Cant wait for trial to start though......

I agree.
She's been a fantastic character.

There's something about female psychos.
Corrie's done it successfully before with Maya Sharma.

Could the two endings be:

1) She gets sent down for Murder

or

2) She gets away with it but then gets run over by bus (or something) meaning that justice is served after all?

I dont think Corrie will be brave enough to let her get away with it as it has caused so much uproar already among the womens rights groups and domestic violence groups.

I think she will need to pay somehow but whether or not it is with prison i'm not sure

I'm pretty sure the 26th March was mentioned in regard to the trial starting so not long to wait!

This has to be the quickest murder trial in history. In real life it takes about 14 months after said murder before a trial even begins. Courts in the UK are jam packed full a whole year in advance.

I think once or twice. I remember Curly & Raquel having one.

Its mainly an EastEnders thing.

Yes the two hander sounds great-
in relation to the two outcomes-
naturally either tracy sent down-but whats stupid is when people are sent down we never see them again! Daft!
Id say if her mother and david take the stand all will go tracys way and she will get off. But with her mother knowing the truth Tracy will be disowned and will leave Weatherfield for good in shame-but of course leaving the door open for a return in future!

I think Amy will be staying. I hope Steve gets her.

Miss Ford said she would not be returning. So they may recast Tracey in about four years time again!

aww really-but when the theatre work dires up maybe shell change her mind?
But then again shes a good actress-controversy please don't start another kate ford crap thread its just my opinion-so she could get plenty of work!

The chances of them recasting this role are slim. I think they know it would be wrong and tracy as a character has run her course-where could she go now? The public certainly feel nothing for her...
