She wasn't trying to steal it. The bloke in the car was going to come in and search the house, so she hid it in her handbag so that he wouldn't find it. Well, that was MY interpretation - which I think means she MUST be falling for Phil.
As to whe he keeps it in the freezer ... Who knows? It seemed to be the first place Kate looked, so it wasn't a very good hiding place!
I wonder how they'll end the storyline?
I think it would be best if she fell for him and he gets arrested and locked up and she looses her job and it turns out that he's innocent. Can anyone see Kate being a perminent member of the cast after the storyline? They've culled a lot of people recently, so they need to replace a lot.

Steve, who plays Phil is taking a year out from Eastenders, I think he tells her what happens (the Lisa speical) and she decides to tell Phil she is a cop, but she has fallen in love with him, and they goto S. Africa, with Peggy in tow.

But surely if Phil tells her what he did to Lisa (lets assume he either killed her or killed her by accident - remember Carley and the cliff top years and years back in Home and Away? well I've heard it's something similar), then how is she going to continue loving him? If my new boyfriend turned around and admitted to killing his previous girlfriends, I'd run a bloody mile!
