Camera Phone Recommendation
Hi,
My daughter would like to buy herself a mobile phone. She would like one with a camera and is preferable a flip up or slide type. Pay As You Go is the type she requires. Has anybody got any recommendations for her. She has a budget of £50 pocket money saved up, though I could well top that up for her if there is aphone that is worth spending the extra on. She won't be using the phone for much call time, but will be texting. Any help will be gratefully received. |

If she is going to text alot I recommend T-Mobile for tor the network as if she changes her price plan to Text Appeal she'll get 3p texts anytime and if you order a pay as you go sim froom the T-Mobile sight she'll get 3000 free evening and weekend texts a month for a £10 top up a month.
As for a phone I can't help sorry. |

Think you will have to put some money to it tbh lol
£50 is not gonna get a decent camera phone. Might get a 2 - 3 year old one but as for taking decent pics, no chance unless you throw another £50 - £100 in as well

How about this for a girl http://www.phones4u.co.uk/shop/shop_...ItemKey=155152
It's on the Orange network too, so if you choose to get the phone, you can ring up Orange and ask to be moved to the Free Text Top up tariff - this means that if your daughter tops up the phone with £10, she will get 300 free text message to last for 30 days. If she tops up again after 30 days she'll get another lot of 300 texts, and so on

Best off going for a phone with at least 1.3 megapixel camera, otherwise it's not worth it. Anything less that 1.3 megapixel can be quite grainy and is pretty old technology now.
