Nooooooooooooo! Those damn teenagers *thinks how old I am*.... Teenage Girls!. Yeah, he was the best singer but Ruby deserved it 100x more.

Ah well, at least loads of money was raised for charity.

Yeah the money was raised I'm very happy for comic relief ect.

OK, conscience clear. AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!
I was 90% certain it was going to be him, but I'm so bloody peeved, why does it always end up like this. Last time we got David Sneddon over Sinead who was pure class. Now it's Will 'Johnny' Mellor over Ruby, pure entertainment!!!!! Why is it these shows always leave me with a bad taste in my mouth. Goes to show, there will always be the teenage girls 'fit one,' and he'll win every time!!!!!

Quite honestly, I dont care who won, I had a week of Ruby's wit so I'm more than happy.
And besides, Will's looking for a new direction as he's left Casualty. I've changed my opinion of him, especially during the last 24 hours. I think behind the brash exterior lies quite an insecure, nice lad.
But my overriding memories of Celeb FA will be Ruby, John and Jo. Good on 'em

AND we've still got Ruby & Jo doing cheeky girls song to look forward to (about midnight I think I read?)

Yes...I feel the same. Im not nearly as dissapointed as I was when Sinead lost FA. I got to like Will when he was on his own with Ruby, they were quite funny together, yet touching at times as well.

But for me, its Ruby and Jo when she was there. I just love that sort of quick thinking sharp wit they both have.

Serious point -

Gay orientated websites go mad for 'Male Totty' that's where the male contestants get enormous support. I think that that's where both Will and David Sneddon (and both Gareth and Will in Popstars) got a significant advantage over the female contestants.

To be incredibly cheesy and clichéd for a sec, the real winner is Comic Relief and all the charities and associations who'll benefit from the £600,000 raised by the show, and that's obviously the important thing. As for the actual contestants, as hilarious as Ruby has been all week, I have no qualms with Will winning, I agree with Tally, he's grown on me a lot this week, especially in the last 24 hours. And Ruby was kept in all week anyway so I don't think we can have too many complaints. Well done to everyone involved

Lol, I'll enjoy the temporary ceasefire. Although who knows, I'm not that big a David fan that I'm going to like everything he releases, so don't be reaching for those daggers just yet

It's great that all that money was raised but I don't think we should be dismissive of people caring about the result. After all, if people didn't feel strongly about it how much money would be raised? Not very much.

I'm happy with the money raised, but pissed off that the British public don't recognise class when they see it.

I've been hooked to the show all week, and it doesn't bother me that Will won... at least Ruby made it to the final!! But I did think the show within the main Comic Relief show was a bit of an anticlimax tonight. There was a much better atmosphere in the programme from the academy last night I reckon.

Anyway, now I can have all my life back, rather than being hooked on BBCi in all my free time!!!!

Are you really suggesting the gay vote swung both competitions? I wouldn't have thought we were talking about significant numbers compared to the teenage girls/soppy older women (*) contingent.

Had a hell of a lot of fun on a few of the gay male message boards during FA1 though

Well done to them both - Will for winning and Ruby for getting through to the final. There was nobody more shocked about that than her. A great weeks entertainment that will have me chuckling for a while to come - I have the joy of watching tapes of the daytime feed that I missed

Waiting patiently for the duet....here it comes though!

But surely the point is that people did feel strongly, and hence a lot of money was raised. Obviously you want people to care about the result whilst the show's still in progress, that's where the money is going to come from. But once it's all done and dusted, as it is now, what does it matter who's won?

I wanted Ruby to win as well, but when she didn't, I felt a miniscule fraction of the disappointment I felt when Sinéad lost back in December. Surely the fact that you recognised Ruby was the class act and you enjoyed watching her is good enough? What does it matter that she (presumably narrowly) lost out to a generally nice guy who undoubtedly had lots of support from teenage girls and people who took the show a tad too seriously?

So Will won so what? Mind you it's a good job he did I think he might have had a breakdown if he hadn't.

I hope all goes well for him now especially as he told David acting was just a job and his real love was music. He also seemed to want a record deal where he had total control ,I doubt that will happen, so he better not give up the day job yet.

CFA will stay in my memory as a week spent laughing with Ruby Wax. Thank you Ruby you are a wonderful unselfish woman to have made the extreme effort to make it so entertaining for everyone.

Although I backed Ruby all the way, I really wasn't too disapointed when Will won. I expected it really. Will seems a nice enough bloke, and I suspect will get more out of winning(confidence boost) than Ruby......

I would of liked Ruby to win, as it was for Comic Relief.... but Will was a fitting wiiner and seems like a decent guy even if he farts too much,. but hey he is a guy but for both of them i think they are both in a win win situation and has acted as a boost to both of there careers...

I really wanted Will to win and I am pleased he showed the sensitive side under his laddish exterior but OMG did anyone think he overdid it a bit?

Ldies who wants a guy who crys more than YOU do - yes it was a very moving show but come on, if the recording contract doesn't work out he could get a gig sponsoring Kleenex!
