There's a thread further up the board...by Colin haters

They are saying that he is annoying and cocky and loves himself....I very STRONGLY disagree and therefore felt that I have to post on this thread to show him my support.

Maybe he isn't the strongest singer or performer but he goes on and gives it his all and he is a nice, kind, genuine bloke.

I think that people forget that they are all in there doing this in their own time for free for charity and therefore do not deserve the insults.

Now Tim's gone, Colin's got my full support.

Actually, that'll probably curse him. Maybe I should support Trishia or Zoe instead.

His voice is improving, especially as I heard his first rendition of the Green Day song this morning on the live feed and he said it was really hard to sing and it sounded it too.......was amazed at the lovely poignant way he sang it tonight.

Happy Birthday and Good Luck to him.

So do I I can't see how people think he's cocky or any of the other criticisms they've levelled against him - he seems like a sweetie to me - and 'm notoriously hard to please!

I think hes probably only a real sweetie to people he likes and trusts.... which is why he comes across well on the radio with Edith and on his new show.

I really like him and would love him to win, but I can see where his defensiveness and cheekyness could be seen in a negative light.

Also I dont think everyone gets his really dry sense of humour. I didnt realise how seriously he could take a work/competition scenario.

Hehe - it says on www.voteforcolin.com that your vote is valid if cast during the live shows. If that's the case then why say the lines are open again at the end of each live show? I feel an amendment may be needed Still, nobody's perfect

I'm not sure - I also thought that the voting lines were pretty much always open and all votes counted, but I heard Colin on the radio the other day saying it was only votes during the show

there is something funny with the votes it says so on the FA website you will get charged each time but they will not always count but I can't understand it! here's it on Colin's page

make of it what you will. I thought maybe it meant that for a while the lines don't register while they count the votes but I don't know ??

i think the voting lines are open all the time so people can donate to comic relief..... but the only time the votes are actually counted is for those cast during the TV show, say from 7 until 10 10.
