Mobile Email
I know similar threads have existed in the past but with new phones coming out I need advice.
I am thinking about switching to a Blackberry contract in a few months as I want PUSH email. Are there any other networks doing anything similar with PUSH email? I am with Telewest/NTL/Virgin Media and use GroupWise at work. What handsets would you recommend? The only network that is out of the question is T-Mobile because of poor reception. |

The major networks that sell to business (Voda, O2, T-Mobile, Orange, as well as BT via MVNO) all support Blackberries.
Whether you're considering getting a BES server installed at work and attaching to that or just going for a personal deal I'd just decide what you want and shop around. If you're planning on installing a server, try and make sure that the provider isn't scared off by Groupwise (not that any of them should be by now). |

Do you want this privately or through work???
The blackberry is one option. but as i say three do push email on any smart phone for very reasonable rates. |

I am currently with Three and was ticked off when they introduced the £25 downgrading fee. I tried to explain to the off-shore call centre that I wanted to drop £5 on my calling plan and add a total of £5 of extras incl email. They could not operate outside of the script no matter how much I tried to tell them they would still be getting the same amount of money off me every month. Ironically, Three is the best for reception for me, just pi**ed off at them. Also heard that Three are planning to introduce their own version of T-Mobile Vario II / Orange SPV. |
