i thought he was meant to be a musical expert, as a DJ ,... but singing a song like that didnt reinforce that idea at all. On the radio he sings best in parody... not like tonights straight copy of a bad song sung badly. |

Colin thinks he is going to come third or fourth because he was the third or fourth from last toget into the bottom 3 and he is not a celebrity but just well known.

My first time on this forum and delighted to discover I'm not the only one to think he's an arrogant smug idiot (I agree Richard Park is also one - they make a fine pair).
Feel so much better now - I was worried he had enormous public support but was delighted when he was in th ebottom 2. gutted that the fellow students chose him above Mel |

I really thought Colin was a gonner last night after being in the bottom 3. What a shame the judges didn't save Mel, because then for sure the students would have saved Shaun and we could enjoy the live feed again
I cannot believe his behaviour last night on the live feed either. First he whinged about the reality side of the programme, nearly resulting in a row with Kevin. Then he slagged Kim Metcalf of calling her "that bitch". Totally justified obviously Then he said he was going to come third or forth The man is an ego maniac. He really is very unpleasant. |

And to cap it all, he is just absolute crap at it!
I'm just watching him on the live feed and he has no natural movement at all and just smiles arrogantly whilst moving hippo in quick setting concrete. |

He is pathetic. Talking to Kevin about Tara and how she has never tried to talk to him once since being in the house (now that's a lie, I've seen her speak to him loads).
He brought up the incident on live stream when she asked him if he was protestant or catholic and he said protestant. Then he turned around again to say actually he's neither but by then she had gone. He said she's rude. I do remember the incident, she had actually been called to Jeremy's office because then you saw her chatting to Jeremy. Kevin tells him that Tara's a lovely person despite the media perception. He says he knew her before she came into the house. Colin changed tack and says that he's glad he sorted things out with her. |

I did like Colin but he's really annoying me lately...the fact that he was indirectly responsible for Mel leaving may have something to do with it, but watching him constantly chiming in last night during the replay and this morning during rehearsals for the group song did my head in. He always has to have something to say...don't blame Kevin for getting pissed off with him.

Yes, what is it with some people and their belief that they are so important, that you WILL want to talk to them?
It seems that you are not given a choice in the matter and if you don't make a bee-line for them, you are at fault and you deserve to be bad mouthed about behind your back. |

I think Tara is being very considerate to us, by not engaging Colin in conversation.
She gets another vote from me for that. Plus if Colin likes her the least how peeved would he be if she won.

And when was Eastenders on all day promoting Kim? Etc. (See the old discussions for the rest, if you're actually interested.) Radio 1did a lot more for Edith than Eastenders was able to do for anyone. Quote:
And you posted the link to your old post as an 'example' following your position that 'she won because of the radio 1 connection'. I thought it was funny that you felt your previous discussions on the topic represented some sort of expert opinion. Still do.
It was an example of why I thought "the Radio 1 vote gave her the victory." You've made that up about "expert opinion". I don't think anything of the sort.

Come on give Colin a break.... its radio 1 going overboard to support him.... not Colin himself.
If he got drunk last night, because he was in the bottom 3, surely that shows how unhappy/ unconfident he really is. On radio shows he always listens really well to people he interviews, or who call in, and hes usually really good at giving sensible, witty responses. I dont think it looks as if hes enjoying himself inside the Academy, and hes definitely coming across badly. |
