He is soooo smug. He has a face you want to slap.

I really hope he is in the bottom 3 tonight with Shaun and Tricia as that is the only way we can guarantee his exit.

Re: This whole "Radio 1" vote thing. Although this is probably has already been said (I only skimmed the last couple of pages of this thread ).

Although I can see where the argument is coming from for the fact that his Ediths/audience are probably the people keeping him in there, getting the other DJs to plug him has no effect IMO. They can plug him all they want - if people don't like him, they won't like him. And I'm a fan of the guy.........

I think he'll be out tonight. That song he's going to sing is bloody awful

Lol Well, if you don't like the song, you don't like the song

I have just said over on his appreciation thread - this could go either way for him tonight.

I thought it was good - In fact I can't stop humming it in my head - I can see it's going to be another sleepless night

The awful thought occurs that because everyone has been in the bottom three and no one seemingly has a real support base , as there is no comic and as only Ray has an active fan base as barry left Eastenders ages ago, Colin might actually win this on a few Radio 1 votes. I don't think this mattered last series as kim had a fan base and support too from a far bigger show and the outcome was credible anyway. It could happen this time - Edith is a music lover though so perhaps not......

I'm not so sure. I reckon Colin will be first to sing tomorrow night and will be out. As I said in another thread earlier, it's kind of looking as if it is more or less preordained. By that I mean that the judges, or whoever makes these decisions, decide, for example, a woman went out tonight, so we want to lose a man tomorrow night - Colin, Shaun, or Ray? S and R are [I'm guessing] bringing in more votes, so let's put Colin on first - he'll most likely be in the bottom three, and we can probably ensure that he will go out.

He is so arrogant and aggressive I can't stand him, I've never heard so much verbal diarrhoea and self delusion in a long while.
He can't sing and looks really unsavoury and skanky, it doesn't help that in a bid to salvage their own reputations the tutors fill his eager ears with flattering hollow garbage which the egotist laps up like a vain spoilt child.

Does anyone know what the running order is yet for tonight? Is Colin first?
Would hate for Tara to be first as I think that could ensure she is in the bottom 3.

I think you underestimate the Radio 1 vote. It's not just about having a fan base, though Edith may well have had more of a fan base as one of 2 DJs in a daily show than Kim as one of many actors in a soap.

A lot of it is about reminding and encouraging people to vote.

(Last year there was also the switch to text-only voting. I hope they don't do that again, or that they at least give non-text voters enough time to vote after the final performance.)

Dunno why everyone dislikes Colin so much. I'm hoping Tara - a genuine egomaniac - finally gets kicked off tonight.

He is particularly annoying in his awkward attempts to make his performances look 'ironic' rather than merely bad.

Seeing as how there are 3 guys and 2 girls left I would imagine the running order would be

Guy, girl, guy, girl, guy

Has there been any degree of correlation between singing first and being evicted??

There seems to be between singing earlier and being in the bottom 3, at least. I haven't checked it carefully, though.

I haven't made a study of it from the start but, certainly over the last couple of days, it has been very easy to predict who would sing first and who would go out (ie the same person).

Thank god I found this thread...I thought I was being oversensitive about my dislike of the man! It's strange because I can't really put my finger on what I don't like about Colin...but I can't stand him! He seems very disingenious and one of those bloke that would go home and say 'I'm the dogs b*llocks'.

Just don't like the guy.

Well in that case I would imagine that either Colin or Shaun will go first

You're mistaking self-confidence for arrogance. He's just a decent guy enjoying the experience. The least showbizzy person there.

Angellica sang first last night and went out.
Fred sang first on Monday and went out.
Shaun sang first on Sunday and was in the bottom three.
Can't remember who sang first on Saturday but I don't think it was Zoe, Tricia or Angellica...
Tim sang first on Friday and went out.
Colin sang first on Thursday and was safe.
Mel sang first on Wednesday and was in the bottom three.
Linda sang first on the first Saturday and was safe.

So only Linda, Colin and I think whoever it was on Saturday have sung first and been safe.

I think the only time Tara was in the bottom 3 was when she was one of the first ones singing.

What happens if we look at the first 2 or 3, rather than only the first 1. Do they tend to be in the bottom 3?
