I got the idea that he left under a cloud, thought he was bigger than the show, and pushed his luck too far. Is this correct? If so how do Easties fans feel about him? Do you still feel loyalty towards him, or resentment that he believed his own hype, and turned his back on the show that made him?

No, I'm guessing it was a big mistake for him leaving the programme. I wonder if fans still see he as part of the Eastenders fold and would therefore vote for him on Fame Academy or see him as a fool who bit the hand that fed him?

I couldn't stand Barry but I guess that Sean Williamson is OK. He has also now got more hair than Barry

I liked Barry. I was sad when Janine killed him.

I didn't like Barry and I don't like Shaun Williamson either.

I loved Barry. He was such a bumbling idiot. He left with a very good storyline though (Janine/Barry/Paul) so had a desearving exit.

I do like Shaun aswell. He is quite a good singer.

I saw shaun perform at Butlins about a year ago and he has a really good voice. I think he's a nice guy. Barry was ok but it was so mean when Janine killed him

His scenes in Extras, with the Agent, really made the show for me. He was hilarious.

I didn't much like him in Eastenders. I always found the sight of his square head rather nauseating.

His face used to make me laugh. I used to like it when he was having a strop.

As Barry from EastEnders - doesn't say much for his acting. I laughed when he said "Shaun Williamson from EE and Extras"
He also thinks he's a great singer too - he's taking FA FAR too seriously along with fake-humble Tricia Penrose

He was axed from Eastenders, he wanted time more and more time of to do panto so they axed him. But to be honest with his dad dead, and him and his wife split up they wasnt a reason for him to be in the show he became pointless.

However i did very much like Natalie.

He's a nice bloke, and means well, but he does nothing for me both professionally or physically

And what's wrong with him taking Fame Academy seriously? If it gets lots of people voting then why not?

Shaun was just another victim of Louise Berridge's reign of terror. Barry was a good, stable character and sure, his death was memorable, but it's a shame we had to lose him.

I like him on Fame Academy, he has a nice voice, which is not surprising considering his musical background. I don't think he'll win though.
