Nokia 6021 in south africa?
Boom
09-03-2007
Hi sorry im a bit of a newb with mobiles.
Guy at works off to South Africa and wants his phone to work over there. He's got a Nokia 6021. Assuming he has global roaming enabled with the network (T Mobile) will his phone work? They dont use any different frequencies there like in the U.S do they?

Cheers

SA use the same systems and frequencies as UK. Local SIM cards make the cost of local and international texts and calls much cheaper than using a UK network. Unlocking can also be cheaper there if required.
