Need a basic phone...

I work at a place where we send old pc equipment for recycling and resell anything that's of any use and it does include a fair bit of lifting and moving around. I require a basic phone for use while im down there so i dont have to take my "main" phone down there and risk it getting scratched or broken. If the basic one got broken or scratched it wouldn't matter so much. I'm willing to spend up to £30 on it and am not fussed about the network its on

nokia 1112 - about as basic as you can get - should be able to to pick one up for about £20 on virgin

Gonna get a Nokia 1112 from Argos tomorrow but can it be unlocked as im not that keen on Virgin

A second hand 3310 it what you want great tough little phone. Still got mine fro when they first came out, dropped it down concrete stairs, in water still works fine today I keep it as a spare.

should be able to - there was a thread on her which offered to unlock nokia phones for free - Just checked and it doesnt list this handset - oh well - if you take it to a mobile repair shop, they should be able to do it for roughly a £5

I ended up getting an unlocked Nokia 6310i from CeX for £30 with a full 12 month warranty
