LOL I tell you sometimes corrie actually is so funny. I was drinking a cup of tea when Tracey told Derdrie that David was wetting the bed and quickly changing the sheets before Gail found out. I actually spat out some tea it was so funny.

She is such a cow

Yeah v. funny! Her face at the very end, looking sad, shaking her head, saying "Ok, I won't see David again" - like she has to force herself not to!

I thought the last scene with Toxic lying baldly to a gullible Deirdre was hilarious as well.

And no wonder Toxic told her not to tell anyone about Demon wetting the bed. If he heard she was passing THAT story round, he'd probably tell the truth in a shot!
Pity she wasn't in the room when Gail was telling Demon he could testify by video on his own so as not to be in court and he said he wanted to be in court in front of everyone. He wants the attention. That's not someone wetting themselves at the thought of appearing at her trial!

Can't wait for next week when Deirdre learns from Gail that Demon is totally unconcerned about appearing at the trial, and is looking forward to it, and Steve tells her Charlie was gonna chuck Toxic out the day she killed him.

The little cogs in that even littler brain will finally start moving! lol!

I wonder what David's reaction would be if he knew what Tracey had said

Well I'm hoping we'll find that out, if Dierdre tells Gail, and Gail confronts David (tactfully and sensitively, or course!)

Oh I can just imagine Gail putting on the whispery voice, eyelids fluttering

Anyone think this whole storyline has been concocted because people on here were asking why Gail and Deirdrie never talk to each other and have rarely shared scenes over the years?

Like I said, one thing he'd do would be to tell the truth instantly to land Toxic in it, never mind what they'd say about him lying.
There can't be many worse things she could say about him than that he wets the bed!

At his age, they wouldn't really be able to throw the book at him for lying, especially if all his other lies were taken into consideration, so he is in a pretty safe position. Everyone knows he's a nutter, so another notch isn't going to bother him that much.

I just don't know why he is being so patient with Tracy, sitting there passively etc.
