I moved here few months ago and we could only get Homechoice due to conservation area rules - so this was the only option. I just finished my other 12 months contract like AOL and sky and was looking to get Homechoice/Tiscali TV. Before March I was offered 2 months free from Homechoice but I had contract running. Now that I have finished that, the Tiscali people say that they cannot offer me that because of the change over. I explained to them, that my neighbouring flat has Homechoice, but they are not interested about that. Their computer says 'no', so its 'no'. they do not want to listen to any logic. However, the tech people said that their system says I can have it. As far as i am concerned, they exchange is enabled to give me Tiscali Tv like my neighbour has it but unfortunatly, I cannot have it.

I have spoken to so many people in Homechoice, Tiscali Tv and today at Video Networks. All in all Homechoice/Video Network is positive however Tiscali are not.

Any idea how can I get Tiscali Tv? any special phone or any info?

Thanks in advance for your generous help.

Your exchange is probably homechoice enabled but, homechoice are no longer selling subscriptions, only tiscali are... however, tiscali don't have control of the homechoice equipment/lines yet so can't actually fulfil any orders on homechoice enabled exchanges, only tiscali ones.

Bit stupid, but that's tiscali for you.

If you're on an exchange that's enabled for both HC and Tiscali (surely the majority in London) you'll need to wait until the service is fully moved over to the Tiscali system. Seems crazy but there you go.
