For Dvd's without the risk of excessive customs duties give Play247 a phone or order through their website http://www.play247.co.ukThey charge £17.99 for all region 1 dvds including shipping and range from £11.99-£14.99 for region 2 titles. All the latest titles and the best value. Give them a try. I recommend them highly!

Not a big fan of Box Office myself, had a number of problems with them sending the wrong discs, discs taking many weeks to arrive, that sort of thing. Since then I've used DVDepot (www.dv-depot.com) and I (and many others) are incredibly happy with their service and the like.

reel.com were good also from what I've heard, but they kinda went all wrong a week or so back by removing the $7.50 shipping option to the UK, meaning shipping to the UK now costs over $20.

Been using DVD Empire since 1996 myself.

Okay, they are a little more expensive in some cases but then again I've received all my orders within a week, intact and as requested.

Can't say fairer than that.

DVD World are good. They always deliver ontime and their prices are not too bad.

I have a couple of others I know... but what are the addresses....

Gimmie an hour on that!

I have used the following, and have been very happy with all of them. I generally shop around and buy it from whoever is cheapest:

www.edvdonline.com (R1) www.video-now.com (R1) www.dv-depot.com (R1) www.dvdboxoffice.com (R1) www.dvdstreet.infront.co.uk (R2)

A good site that has a live top-ten of retailers is www.dvdtimes.co.uk

Paul.

I always use www.dvdboxoffice.com for R1, as they have free postage to UK! Got Pokemon for my lad a couple of weeks back before it was even on the cinema here!

I've tried www.amazon.co.uk for R2, who are good, with very prompt delivery.

I have been using DV-Depot for several months and have from time to time had to email them weeks after orginally ordering DVDs to get them to dispatch order.

For the next couple of months, I am going to try DVDBOXOFFICE to see if they are any better
