Sky Talk Unlimited Charges

Went live on Sky Talk on 4th Jan, confimred in writing by BT and Sky themselves.

Looked at Sky credit card statement and noticed that bill was higher than usual.

Have phone calls that have been charged for by Sky, that probably should not have been.

Will be getting paper bill, showing all calls made via post shortly, to get this cleared up. Keep your eyes open on your bills too. Will update when all evidence has been gathered!!

I have been with Sky Talk for a few months but have suddenly noticed that my bills are approx. £25 a month higher than usual. I phoned Sky this morning & they seemd to think it was due to Sky Talk so I had to phone on a different number!

I spoke to Sky Talk & they advised that although the £5 a month included all my standard calls 24/7, I had a large amount of premium rate numbers which had resulted in the recent big bills!

VERY SUSPICIOUS as I really can't remember making these calls. Sky have now said thay will send me an itemised paper bill every month so that I can investigate but apparantly customers have to request this.

I will update this thread when I have more information.

Thanks, my daughter has just changed to Sky Talk Unlimited from a Primus Saver Option 2.

She's keeping the Orchid dialler (which bars 09 and 070 calls) and 1899 and 18185 combination to route the 084/087 and calls to mobiles by the cheapest routes.

Please let us know.

Maybe your set top box is dialling the premium rate numbers remember interactive isn't free on sky.
