As for Carrie's looks and what she wears...she looks bizarre at times, but so what? At least she is not afraid to flaunt it. She reminds me of some former art teachers that I had at school who were not afraid of self-expression ![]()

LOL thats well cute. Thanks for letting me know hun. I asked one of my friends who's a moderator on the site and she had luckily captured it on tape without realising so I will get to see it after all
!Yeah my friend had them made by another friend of hers. The dolls looked so good, especially David & he had tried to make them as personalized as poss with the clothes etc. Carrie did mention to me about making my site official but then she's been so busy with FA I never got a definate go ahead, but I'm going to now! Thanks again xxx

![]() Carrie should not be on this show, or any similar stage. Her conduct during FA2 was outrageous. She acted as little more than Polydor's & Endemol's paid stooge, turning it into a complete laughing-stock & helping to ensure that the BBC would not consider a third series. As for her, & her husband's, alleged as vocal coaches, they are average at best. Don't forget this is the woman that predicted that Alex Parks was about to forever change the face of world music. And if they were really that good they wouldn't have felt thre need to branch out into other business activities. |

Carrie is fabulous and looks great. What is wrong with being individual in style I love her funky clothes.

*Yawn*
Carrie & David are the only ones who talk any sense in the live shows, and are constructive with their words- o0 and lovely Lesley of course. Parky & Craig are just awful and don't even know what they are on about half the time. It's a good job C&D are there sticking up for the students otherwise they would be nervous wrecks after Parky & Craig had finished with them. |

When they seemed to take glee in crucifying the students and sticking the knife in just where they knew it hurts? Louise and Alex Parks being the obvious exceptions to this rule as they were perfect .... Can anyone forget Louise's: I'm all yow-ers ....

Ali hasn't made it big and although Alex hasn't particularly either, she still won! It's not the judges fault if some people are more vocally talented & better performers than others. As long as they treat them all equally and give them the help that they need, which they did. I'm not saying they're perfect but I really don't see what the big deal is.... ![]() This thread now starting to remind me of just why and how much I dislike Carrie and David - for reasons previous stated .. I find it totally incomprehensible how some people justify (or try to justify) the way they treated some of their previous students .... Last edited by tomorrow : 13-03-2007 at 17:31. |

Hardly double standards. I don't remember the students being nervous wrecks fourrrrr whole years ago! but if I did then i'd have gotten over it by now.

However, whilst I don't really like her make-up, I'm glad she feels that she can wear what she likes. I admire any woman, especially an older one, who wears exactly what they want to even if they don't look quite right - it's like that Mars Delight advert when she puts her ball gown on for serving in a greasy spoon. |

There is an index in Carrie criticism that when a certain amount of negative posts are made someone has to mention her ailments...

I think they're both really nice. As tutors they could just go in and teach the song and not care about the students. I think they show a lot of compassion.
