Apparently 'I Am A Celebrity Get......' will be returning in April 2003, having been put back a month.

According to this News of the World article the show's producers are trying to tempt Jordan to sign up for the show.

Other celebs rumoured to be taking part include Paul Gascoigne, Marti Pellow and Daniella Westbrook(confirmed).

the 20th is easter so it is more likely to be the monday.

I agree with you so much, emzi. It is a serious drop in weirdness from the last series. The only two with any potential are Daniella & Edwina - the rest seem so damn normal...

If you think about it the celebs we would like to see on this could not afford to take the time out, most of them are under contract etc. Only folks with no contracts can do this.

I thought ....."who....???" then. Some I knew, some I knew about. I never expected it to be any good. But, given the right circumstances, any bunch of people turn out to be interesting, I expect, as their personalities emerge and the story between them as a group develops.

Apparently Wayne Sleep (dancer), John Fashanu (footballer) and Chris Bisson (soap actor) are all in talks with the show's producers.

I'd be interested to see just who the remaining celebrities are. The line - up so far, with a couple of exceptions, appears to be rather dull.

Like I stated in a previous post, The popular folks are working and can not take the time out to do this. One would have to be out of work or very rich to accept the offer.

It's not that we want popular people necessarily though! I'm more than happy if they can get a dozen embittered failures - as long as they have comedy value! I still think they should have got David Van Day...

I predict that:

Daniella Westbrook will use it as a platform of confession and get the sympathy vote (like Tara).
Sian Loyd will be the Nell MacAndrew quiet type.
Wayne Sleep will be a proper diva and have hissy fits.
Linda Barker's voice will have us pulling our hair out.
A.W.T. will be the first to get into a confrontation

I'm delighted with the line up.....I've heard of them all, except the corrie actor.....I'm not a soap fan.

I think some of them may be seriously weird in ways we haven't even imagined. I've met Wayne Sleep a few times...years ago. If he hasn't changed, he is a nice bloke, boundless energy and very, very 'SHOWBIZ DARLING', which may drive the viewers and fellow celebs mad!

Phil Tufnell is a bit of a character

Unusually for a cricketer he is a down to earth East or Sarf London boy. Most famous for being a heavy smoker and very unathletic for a professional sportsman. His nickname was The Cat which, needless to say, was ironic

Had several run ins with the authorities over his liking for wacky baccy. Became something of a cult figure with the Aussie fans when he toured down under. He's quite funny and comes across as a nice guy. Announced his retirement from cricket yesterday, typically causing a big row with his county, who are left with no time to find a replacement. Season starts today.

I had to give up watching soaps before BB3. I just couldn't keep up, especially as they'd taken over all the primetime scheduling.
Wish it was Dev. Now he's a bit of a dish. I wouldn't mind seeing him washing his smalls in the jungle!

Sian Lloyd.....weather girl from ITV...she is welsh....apparently a very nice women. Some people find her way of delivering the weather very sexy its the accent I think!

Linda Barker.......Designer.......became famous for 'changing rooms' the show that also stars the divine Laurence L Bowen. She has done lots of other design shows since, blonde, attractive, with a strong northern accent.

We all think"oh! no" but when we get to know em they are so different to our original perception of them, nowt stranger than folks!!
