DVD has been recorded on but...

Trying to play a DVD in a DVD player, but it wont play. The DVD has been recorded on, because its dark around the edge on the back, unlike a blank. When placed into a dvd drive on my computer it says its blank and it says theres no space free, so i know that the film has been recorded on, but it won't play.

it's a DVD+R disk. It has worked on one dvd player in the past.
