Is a child actor?

Jack who plays him is 19 in real life, no where near a child actor. It must be so annoying for Jack that people keep caling him a kid.

Please he isn't a child actor any longer, and to the fact if people dind't know the character of David is 16 making him no longer a child as he can do things without Parental Consent.

Chris.

PS Sorry for my Rant

People on this forum, I read it in the Ben thread, in one of the Vote this and that threads etc.

Jack is an actor in his own right just like Helen Worth, Tina O'Brian, Kate Ford etc.

Maybe they were referring to the character. Although you're right in saying that being 16 wouldn't necessarily make you a child, he isn't an adult yet either. He can't drive, marry without parental consent, smoke (well, come October anyway) or drink (I'm talking about David btw not Jack).

Give people a break though. Maybe not everybody knows Jack's 19. He hardly looks it, does he?

I actually thought he was 16/17 before this week. Never thought he was the same age as me.
And for me being a child actor includes teens who are still at school so I thought he was one before this week.

I think he can still be eligable to win an award for dramatic performance by a young actor though

^ He is still a young actor, just not a child actor.

I though he was 16 until a couple of weeks ago. He looks really young for his age!

Why does he wear more slap than the rest of the cast (Rita excluded of course) put together? Very strange...

I think you can until you're 21, which seems a bit too old to me.

The reason the chaacter has been allowed to develop is because he started off as a good child actor and that is still what he is mainly recalled as seeing as he plays the part of a schoolboy.

Jack, is that you? I think what people mean is that he plays a child and not he's one. And even if David turned 16, it will take some time till people adjust. There's nothing disrespectful there, I am sure.

Sadly I'm not Jack

I understand, I was just kind of annoying me as I always think of Child actors like the forms of Sophie, Ches, Belle, Tom, Abi, Lauren etc....

I don't think of Rosie, David, Darren Libby... etc as children for some reason.

lol, Sorry If I have cause affence

Agreed.

I think he's a terrific actor but he's going a very odd shade of orange and I'm getting a little worried about him.

It's almost as though they wrote the storyline where he works in the salon so that we can understand his odd face colour as free sunbed treatments.
