I agree. I suppose they're good singers, but their singing is completely uninteresting.

I'd still rather listen to good if slightly uninteresting singing than Ray shouting his way through everything or Angellica warbling off-key.

We all know Tricia takes it too seriously and can't keep her gob shut if she gets criticised

You think she would be used to it by now!

My post on the Shaun and Trisha thread:

'She's already had two failed singles. And she lost out on Eurovision 2002 to Jessica Garlick (who?). When is she going to wake up and accept it ain't gonna happen?'

Why have you got an ass on you?

On second thoughts I don't want to know.

But for those of us who don't find them hilarious, they're pointless.

Agreed...Sean in particular bores me to tears; I haven't enjoyed a single one of his performances. Tricia doesn't seem to connect with her songs much either; tonight especially was awful. I think Tricia's days are numbered but Shaun will probably go quite far and maybe win...

Add Angelica and Fred to the list and I'd agree. All four of them are just dull and so desperate to win. Ugh

I agree. Over this past day or so, Angelica is also starting to annoy me...and I'm glad that Fred is gone too.

Gosh they all irritate me in one way or another, but Tara's performance moved me again tonight. To a lesser degree, I even enjoyed Tricia's song tonight, and I never thought I'd say that.

But Shaun...I doubt anything that he sings is going to wake me up..the guy is boring and utterly dull. I've seen more entertainment watching paint dry

These people are celebrities. Allegedly. They are all narcissistic. They all have personalities that were given to them.

Comic Relief? The only (deliberately) funny one was Mel. I can't see this Ray Stubbs thing, Colin is boorish, Angelica turns on the waterworks and is probably more nakedly ambitious than any of them, and Tara wants to grow up. She is a "celeb" only by means of her privileged background and her contacts. Vulnerable? spolit brat more like.

Tricia and Shaun are bound to take this more seriously because they have reasonably good singing voices. Shaun comes across to me as quite shy, but I do think he has the best voice there. Tricia sings OK but whereas Shaun has got better, Tricia has not. Personality-wise it's all a big front. All of them.

As for what's boring, well yes, bad singing can be funny at first, but after a while the joke wears off.

I agree with practically everything you say, except that I quite like Tara in spite of myself. She is spoilt, as you say, and is certainly very high-maintenance, so I certainly couldn't live with her, but I have a taste for the eccentric and, for me, that's her appeal. Her singing is dreadful, though.

If there weren't at least one or two people who could hold a tune in what is essentially a singing contest, it would just be unwatchable for me, especially since the 'comedy' content is embarrassingly unfunny.

Well said, couldn't agree more

I've no axe to grind or any particular favourite out of this lot. But personally I'm really glad Shaun's in the show. I've been fascinated watching him change and improve over the days - something which must be really hard when you've been singing as long as he is, you must get set in your ways. Last night I thought he was tremendous - each to their own of course but how anyone could call that boring completely baffles me

Totally agree. Both nice people but they've got no personality whatsoever. Ming Campbell (Lib Dem leader) has got my charisma than those two put together.

Dull, dull dull.

Why, what's he said? Or are you just equating good with desperate to win? Tara, Angellica and Colin are the ones that seem desperate to win to me.

Are you suggesting that she should deliberately sing badly

Tricia is just so desperate to win and seems to be acting as though this is the X-Factor with her whole career riding on it, rather than Comic Relief does Fame Academy

Tara is a petulant, attention seeking idiot; all those waterworks earlier were so contrived it was embarrassing. Richard Park was spot on - she sounded absolutely terrible - and does it really matter anyway? Surely it's all about the charidee and not maintaining these people's careers

I quite like Barry

I like all of them that are left in now and it's a shame for any of them to go home at this stage. I know Trishia's got the best voice but I still prefer the performances of Tara and Angelica.
Shaun has grown on me a bit watching the live feed - Colin's a bit cocky but I thought he did a good job with Ring Of Fire tonight and Ray's going nowhere after Hit Me with Your Rythm Stick. I fear Tara will be in the bottom three and might not get saved this time.
