I've had this phone for almost 12 months now and the only problem I find with it is when someone calls me the phone rings about 4 times then diverts to the answerphone.

Is there anyway I can change it so it rings a little longer? Sometimes by the time I've found which pocket the phone is in and got it out the calls been diverted.

I'm on contract with T-Mobile but surely its not a network setting but a phone setting.

Funny you should mention this I had the exact problem with my W800i.

Solution was to put the sim card in a nokia phone, most if not all nokias have the "divert if not answered" option that lets you choose either 5,10,15,20 or 30 seconds delay before sending the call to voicemail.

(edit. It then remembers this setting when put back in the SE phone)

you can also use this code....

**61*voicemail number *11*30#

where it says voicemail number put whatever you dial to get voice mail i.e 121 on vodafone, 901 on o2 etc

so for o2 it would be **61*901*11*30#

the 30 is the length of time you want it to ring for. 30 seconds is the maximum length.

just hit the send/dial key once typed in

kai66 Thanks for the reply. Thats most helpful have set the divert to 30 seconds now and its much better.

nafanny29, nice alternative but sadly don't own a Nokia phone anymore so couldn't do it via that method.
