Shaun at least hits some interesting votes - albeit if you shut your eyes and with no emotion.

Colin turned in a poor performance- even agrees it with Carrie and he is saved by Ray who talks about ihis mprovement (his first song was his best) even though its Mel who has obviously improved to teh extent she is actually hitting her notes whilst doing the comedy act on top. He's also saved by Angellica who can't possibly be voting on times in the bottom 3 and offers no reason at all.

Stupidity from the judges didn't help either - only Richard saw the importance of keeping a comic and that the only way to remove Colin - who none of them like - was to put him up against Shaun.

Bit strong words from Colin that. I wonder if this apparent hatred of Kim is from when she was competing with Edith, or if he knows her from elsewhere?

He said how proud he was of Enid for turning down record deals she was offered after she won and he suggested that by winning she scuppered Kim Metcalfs chance of a record deal. The intimation being that you shouldnt profit from what should be a charitable exercise.

But he didnt save Tim. And last series he would badly slag off Ade, despite him being a brilliant comic in comparison to this years. So I cant see any logic in Richards judging.

I agree voting Zoe is mad. You might just argue she had potential as like many pop singers looks matter more than being able to sing, but he didn't need two CBBC personalities who were bringing in no votes. He could have saved Mel or Tim and assumed Zoe would go.

Ade I understand his thinking - it was all the same act - Mel was subtler and had different acts for each song rather than being recognisably punk - moving into the doggie position whilst singing a song was hardly subtle - although you wonder how many of the OAPs watching got the joke.

As he only has two good vomics you would think he would have ordered the judges to take good care of them.

Its all looks like a mess up though as he has created the vote for the dire Angellica just like he created one for the dire Barry and James in FA2 and Lesley has got Scotland voting for any old rubbish Scottish comedian. He's even stoked up the Ray bandwagon

it either is a mess up or someone has decided that the ratings are not too good and as no one will vote for the comics and the singers are not much good the only way to get votes is to push Tara and get people voting for the direr singers by slating them?

I dare say she was referring to Richard Park. Whether she means it is an entirely different question. She knows which side her bread is buttered.

It's possible that Angellica just prefers the company of people of around her own age. Now that Zoe has gone, that just leaves Colin.

wow - did you lip read ? They cut the sound on mine. Another Colin dim argument. What does it matter when you or how you are noticed - it doesn't hurt the charity - just gives the show good publicity. Its a sort of 1960s socialist argument. What a nasty argument too - you could want Edith to win because you preferred her singing style and even if you though Kim was artificial - singing to David's notes rather from anywhere creative - but no one should want her to win so Kim didn't make money. It makes no sense anyway - the girl who came third in 'How ''''' about Maria got the big record contract.

I read Edith turned the reord deals down because she didn't want the life, was happy doing what she was doing and understood the industry and what a singing career really meant.

Might be.

Havn't seen her mixing much though - she spends more time with the girls. Mel was 38 going on 19 anyway.

Its all rather unpleasant in BB terms. Mel spent time with both sexes but it does her no good with these men who vote on sex and she gets hit by Angellica breaking with the girl block vote . In BB terms they have matricided both house mothers (Linda and Mel) which is a total BB no no. The arguments were nonsensical too - Mel was nailing notes when she hadn't early on whilst Colin had been praised less and less. Its her performance they were all praising last night and hers the judges praised tonight. Its as if they are actually just voting for the blokes or voting tactically.

Are you sure Fred is a comedian? He doesn't even smile, he hasn't done or said anything funny that I've noticed. In fact he sounds a looks a little depressed

What show is he actually on?

I agree. I think he seems a nice, decent bloke. However, he does nothing for me entertainment wise.

I think I heard him say last night, that he has done things like Mock The Week and Have I got News For You.

I have watched them a few times and still don't know who he is. I am obviously not very observant.

Did he really say that? It's pretty nasty if so.

then he said how much he respected edith for turning down record offers which was reasonable but not that logical as she would still be famous for doing something - just something different.

He then said something about her beating that bitch which seemed very OTT all around.......

lots of sound cuts....”

"That bitch" presumably being Kim.

He's on the radio up here in Scotland and is also something of a Scottish TV personality. He hosts a lot of award shows - that kind of thing. I'm actually warming to him more now I've seen his non-comic personality on the feed etc. I find he tries a bit too hard when he's 'working'.
