he was actually betting that he would be in the bottom three. he was saying he hasn't got much chance he thought the song is no good for him. David was arguing that he would be ok.

And Colin will give £50 to comic relief if he isn't in the bottom 3

And David said he'd give £50 if he was.

I know its all a matter of opinion but I think that the show is a bit of a farce anyway. Park choosing Zoe over Tim?

Tara doesn't really sing that well but people admire her quirky personality. Angelica will never be able to sing on stage even though she has a sweet voice because she can't overcome the nerves. Shaun and Tricia have good voices but their personalities seem a bit dull. Colin and Fred come over (to me) as a bit arogant. Who else is there? Oh yeah . . . Ray.

I like Tara, it would be good to see her win. I did support Shaun, but he's such a miserable ba****d that I'm beginning to lose sympathy - great voice, but not much fun to watch. Fred and Colin are indeed arrogant, especially Fred, as at least Colin can sing a bit. Ray? Nice bloke, Mr Ordinary, which is why he might appeal to the masses, but horrendous performance last night. Angellica can't sing, and made a BIG mistake last night with the waterworks, and Tricia's as boring as Kim Metcalfe was last time.

Anybody apart from Shaun, Tricia and Colin winning it will be great just to see their "BUT I'M A SINGER!" looks on their faces.

I mean lets be painfully honest here: Shaun and Tricia went into this to promote themselves or at least boost their ego that they are, singers.

Personally, I think they should just get people who can't sing and see who improves the most. IE ban people who love themselves and only go to karaoke to out-sing everyone else. (They do exist!)

It seemed to work though, as she wasn't in the bottom 3

WHATM

Kevin talking to Tara about her performance last night which he says was UP there (shame I was working and missed it) ... but Tara mentions that she is nervous about mummy and daddy who will be there tonight ... as they are straight from Gosford Park

/makes note to watch that film

WHATM
Tara recounts to kevin that Trish makes all her own jewellery. Tara told her its very refined and reminded her of the Wallace Simpson collection ... and Trish responded in a common voice "who's she"

Meanwhile Tara gets stuck under the table ......

Watching the live streaming a few minutes ago, did Tara have an argument with some one?

I heard her and Kevin having a chat, and Kevin saying something like "you've got to clear the air."

Can anyone confirm this?

Posts 12 and 13 of this thread suggest it could be Colin ...

Tara still in with Kevin ... singing her song - erupts into the giggles

Apparently Tara farted .... she is so embarrassed ....

LOL .. I am glad I am not the only person who would rather die than fart in public ...

But it was all cleared up when she explained that she "was trying to breath from different places"

I don't know about anyone else, but I think Tara has nailed this song as I keep getting choked up when she does the end bit.

If she can do it that way tonight, she'll be OK.

Yep - totally agree

Its Tara that makes the interactive watchable ... for me anyway ...

ps Stratford - totally agree also with your comment about choking up at the end - she really does make it sound so vulnerable ...

Isn't her song the one that was used in the ad that had a cat, dog and mouse all cuddling up to each other in front of a gas fire??

Yes! An award winning ad as well. But it's always been a standard.

(The out-takes from the ad were funny as well try to stop the mouse running off or stopping the cat from eating it )

If past programmes are anything to go by, tears won't work twice. Tricia had best watch out as well with her "Vote for me 'cos I'm great" stuff!

Given the choice of song I expected Tara to do well with her song tonight and Colin to struggle, but having heard the rehearsals it may be the reverse - Colin sounded surprisingly good - not in anyway a bottom three performance and as we know Ray will get through whatever he does so that could leave 3 from the other 5?

Is Angellica doing the Lily Allen song?

If so, she will get through as the record will do it ....

WHATM
Colin seems to have a problem with not having had a chat with Tara ... that is twice he has mentioned it today now.
Something happened last night between them.
Apparently, Colin feels he bonded a bit with Tara last night

Why is it so important to him?

She thinks the judges were harsh with her.

I didn't think they were that harsh personally.

Jeremy telling her she has the less experience and is the youngest..wtf??

I know ... I get bored now when Jeremy has his little talks.

Sometimes I actually question what he is trying to achieve from them ... what is his remit for a particular student?
