I did start a Trisha and Shaun thread but I really think she deserves one of her own. What was all that 'vote for me stuff' whilst everyone else is saying it's all for charity and they're all having a great time. She is incredibly self centered and totally deluded about her abilities. I don't like her.

Well she has tried to have a singing career in the past, several times, without success. She is probably hoping she can get a career out of appearing on this show.

I agree. I wouldn't be surprised if she smells ( probably incorrectly) an album. I'm not sure who would buy it TBH

As I've said on other threads when is she going to wake up and realise it's not going to happen?

Very, along with Shaun. I still believe they think they are the favourites - I think Tara would probably pass out if someone told her she was now favourite.

It's true that she is keen to win, and I think the 'Vote for me' thing was a mistake. However, everyone who enters a contest wants to win. Also, it would be naive to believe that any of these 'celebrities' do this solely for charity. They all hope to gain out of it, in career terms. At the very least they hope for/expect a raised profile. It's very likely that those who have any singing ability will hope to get some kind of singing-related work out of it (Edith Bowman was the exception to that rule). And you can be sure that most of those who can't sing would be exactly the same if they could sing.

Posted on another thread that Tricia has the 'Anthea Turner' effect on me. Can't take to her. What is it about her that I don't like ? I don't know. I didn't like the 'vote me,me,meeee' last night. She needs to lighten up and get over herself, for sure. Way too serious about perfecting her voice.

Carrie said this morning to her that she's got the best female vocals in there - maybe so, but Tara's got more style and pizzazz than Tricia in her little finger, which throws Tricia's vocals right out of the door with a big thud. Doesn't matter how sweet she sings. The only winner for me is Tara

Trisha may have the best female vocal in there, but only because of what she's up against. Angellica has a voice that hurts my ears and Tara does not have a great voice, but she does have something that Trisha does not. Trisha has an ordinary voice IMO, not bad, not particularly good. Put her against a really good voice and she would struggle.

I think Tricia has the best female vocal in the competition. Having said this, who's she's up against? Angellica - not the greatest singer, but has proved she can give a great peformance and Tara - again not the greatest singer, but gives good performances and clearly has a huge fanbase.
Havig said this, maybe I am a teensy bit biased......Tricia has played Gina Ward in Heartbeat since 1992, and I've loved that show since I was small

I think Tricia's problem is that she doesn't endere herself in the way to you that Stubbsy does.

Stubbsy always looks genuinally shocked at the news his safe.

Come on Stubbsy, let's get Tricia out

I agree with you. Trisha always looks rather smug....

To be fair, I've met Tricia a few times and I can't tell you enough times how lovely she is. She is really warm and friendly, though I admit it isn't coming across very well on the telly.

Hiya CD I can't stand her but have to give credit where it's due. Tonight's song is the only time I've enjoyed her performance. She was really good at singing that number. but in terms of being voted out? I couldn't care if she was out tomorrow night. She really isn't coming across well on TV and seems very self-absorbed.

Smug sums her up - except when she's in danger of being thrown out!

Yes, she sang it well, but she does not perform in my opinion ( neither does Shaun) she just goes through the motions of singing the song without any emotion or performance. Tara for some reason really touches me with her performances. I get a lump in my throat because she seems to draw on her emotions and its so raw. It's hard to explain....

I think Tricia has the best female vocal in the competition - road rage was great! She has put up with some really dreadful outfits from the BBC and that "trailer trash" comment from Craig was awful! She is not getting paid to be on the show. I actually don't think she is that desperate to win....but even if she is - is that really so bad?
