Down at my local nightclub the other night i heared a tune playing that was sampling the melody to one of the bbc one idents (the one where they bounce about at the festival). Does anyone know the artist and song name for this at all?

Which tune was it? The wheelchairs, salsa, bollywood, ballet (do they show that anymore?) etc

right i have heard it on the trance nation deeper advert so it is definetly somewhere on that cd.

Sorry if I'm telling something you already know, but I once wanted to know the name of a piece of music played in a BBC programme, and I phoned them, and they gave me the departmental number for musical archives. Unfortunately, I don't still have it, but I'm sure you can ring to find out about any piece of music they use.
