Yes that was the VT about the mother in Africa missing her child. Tara was moved by it and couldn't understand why anyone wouldn't be - she said that was the memory she would take with her from the show.
During the showing of the VT Colin had seen her emotion and suggested it was fake for the public ( paraphrased).

I think it's really getting to Runcorn Spice that he's still there. Not in a nasty way but, she really can't get round the fact that she is a good singer and yet he's never been in the bottom three.

Your right. She does seem particularly upset and vulnerable on the livefeed just now and is still up worrying and fretting. She needs a goodnight's sleep as she seems overwrought.
I thought those couple of wines she had earlier would've knocked her out, but she seems wide awake again.
