Jason has let Charlie down badly. He should have taken that tape to the Police

Maybe he should. But it doesn't prove murder.

It would be enough to get Tracey refused bail for interfering with witnesses. The prosecution would also have a field day with it.

Perhaps he should save up and make an appointment with Miss Leanne.

Are Tracey's defence team allowed to look at the police and forensic evidence?
I've no knowledge of law in this case. Probably a pointless question as it is soapland and her brilliant lawyer is convinced of her evidence based on David's very shaky statement.
As a previous poster said, Tracey has killed him because he dared to have affairs and she knew what he was like. She's not championing the cause of domestic violence. She despised Shelley.
But I think she'll go free, giving her a chance to come back later, unless right at the very last minute someone comes in waving some previously unheard of evidence in the air which the soap police have failed to find.

I wasn't saying that you were attacking Kate Ford, actually. The point that I was trying to make was that your posts about Tracy Barlow the character seem to be filled with anger and venom. Personally, I would find it difficult to get so worked up about someone that I know to be fictitious and the product of a scriptwriter. Now, before you say it, I'm not one of those people who sits there every episode pointing out that it's not real. I can lose myself in the story like anyone else. But, because the character is ultimately fictional, I find it difficult to muster up the strength of feeling that you clearly have.

As you say, you're entitled to your opinion. And I wholeheartedly agree with you that when people start abusing the actress in the street, they should dispose of their TV sets immediately because they've obviously lost touch with reality.”

its fine, theres no problem at all, nice to know we all can be civil and understand each other,

I think there is already another bitch in Corrie, working in the factory, Kelly, I don`t think she would go as far as Tracy but she takes offence at nothing and is absolutely vicious.

We can all speculate and say what should happen in the trial. All these loose ends. I think it's good that we don't really know the outcome. In the old days of course she would be going down 100% but these days in soaps evil characters get off all the time. That will make the trial exciting. We all know Tracy is leaving, but how? We know the door "has been left open", so she wont die. That's the only thing we do know. So watch hold you're breath for the verdict and enjoy....

If my memory serves me correctly, charlie had snapped at jason about something, and then he had excused his behaviour by explaining that things were a bit strained at home due to tracy's abortion. Jason then mentioned it to sarah, which started the trail back to blanche.

I don't think Jason ever found out that the abortion was a false story. Charlie was highly unlikely to admit to his pal that he ahd been duped by his woman.

I sincerely hope they call on jason as a witness.

Why have they not looked at any of the cctv footage - it was based in charlie's office, and is spying on maria's old flat (owned by charlie) - surely it wouldn't take einsten to work out that all those months of charlie smarming on maria's doorstep would make tracy a jealous lady

Ther are good witness' on both sides. Tracy has very good ones in Clare and David better than Jason and Maria, however David could be caught out lying and Clare had a breakdown just before. These might go against them. Jason and Maria would testify to Charlie and Tracy's characters but Maria might have to (and I am sure I read this some where) tell the court that she saw Charlie trying to drown David. The outcome is far from clear.

When's this trial happening? I've had about enough of this dreary storyline filling each episode.
