Broken 5.1 Surround sound set up, help required

Hi, i have a Sony 5.1 DVD player and it broke on me the other day, after ringing a few repair centres the cost of repair would be around £100, the player only cost me £200, I was wondering if anyone knew of a decent dvd player or amp so i can continue to use my speakers and sub, the rms of the old dvd player was 720W total so anything below that i'm sure the speakers could handle but never max it out.

Does anyone know where i can get another dvd player or amp without speakers at a reasonable price, it only goes in the bedroom so i aint too fussed about superior sound quality. Any alternatives would be appreciated greatly.

You could always buy the same model dvd player from ebay...
