I originally joined a BT Account in November then 3 months later I received the bill it was for £230.69!

I got £90 deducted from that as i'd paid for the BT Vision box so that brought it down to £140.69 now the Vision never worked on my line and so I cancelled and sent it back and got a refund on my card and then cancelled the broadband i signed up for to get Vision.

They said they would remove all broadband charges from my account. They still show on my bill.

£50.69 came out of my DD for the phoneline and the bill showed as paid on ebilling. Then a few days later it came up i was owe £90 and then i phoned up and they said it was advance charges until the end of April but as my line gets cut off on the 20th as i'm moving house i will get a rebate and to disregard the bill.

I phoned them up today and they are asking me to pay it and i phoned because i received a red reminder in the post for £90.

They cant do anything and are looking for me to pay for it i only went over the bill in call charges £17 odds in the quarter and 3x£10.75 per month doesnt equal £140.69.

They have mucked up my bill and i dont know what to do i always pay everything on time until this.

What do you suggest?

But £90 + 3 x £10.75 + £17 does, near enough.

But i've already paid £50.69 which is what came out of my Bank Direct Debit from them.

I dont want to have to pay another £90 on top of that as I know i've not run up that much.

Maybe the stories about BT overcharging are true then?
