Comfortably outselling their nearest rival Gwen Stefani

Ray heading for number one in the album chart ahead of Take That

Ben Mills currently at number 4 in the albums

That sounded a little "Smashie and Nicey"

ray, ben, girls aloud, sugababes...the majority are reality tv stars!!! Im quite suprised ben and ray are selling so well, havent seen/heard much promo, or I maybe out of the loop a wee bit.

Well done to the girls though, still proving that fun music can still sell

Don't like the song at all. I'd rather give the money straight to charity!

Ugh, normally I can tollerate most pop but this song has nothing going for it! Apart from the charity cause, of course. But then you can always give to charity in other ways

A sure fire number one if ever there was one. After all you only need to sell a slack handful of singles to get into the chart these days.

Back in the day I remember the buzz of getting your hands on the latest 12" single of choice...alas the buzz has gone in the technological click on the button to download age.

The whole point of the song this is based on - 'Walk this Way' featuring Run DMC and Aerosmith- was that it brought together two contrasting genres of popular music. ie. heavy rock and hip hop. Without getting too pretentious it actually changed the face of music. Artists like Public Enemy, Limp Bizkit and Eminen and Producers like Rick Rubin fused rap and rock to create new forms and sold tens of millions of records.

In contrast the Sugarbades/Girls Aloud effort is a steaming pile of dogsh*t.

The video's a mess as well, with the likes of Davina McCall and Graham Norton giving their ugly mugs an airing

I really like their version. The original is crap in my opinion.

It's a poor cover but the remix is better than the single version. It has more of an electro sound to it.
