There are so many people who complain about the vocal coaches Carrie and David as well as the judges. Do you think they should be replaced? If so who by?

Do you even think there should be a judging panel or should it just be left up to the public?

I think they should still have a judging panel, as it is part of the entertainment. I like Lesley and Craig, but I really object to Richard. I'm not sure who would be a good replacement, but I'd like to see someone who has a bit more idea what they're talking about. That's why I loved the Sound of Music show. Speaking of which, Zoe, the vocal coach on that show seemed excellent.

I think it would be better for the Comic Relief aspect if there were comedy judges who knew about music. Someone like Ruby Wax maybe. Jonathan Ross would be good as well.

Actually it could work having someone like that as long as they still had people like Lesley who actually know what they're talking about. I just hate it when someone gives a really out of tune performance and is told it was perfectly in tune or vice versa. Whether it's for Comic Relief or not.

As far as judges go I think Louis Walsh is currently in the market for some more tv work

As coaches ... and ONLY coaches I don't have a problem with Carrie and David

As for judges ... I don't mind them saving one of the last 3 people .... then the public's vote again being the deciding factor as to who should be saved

I wouldn't really mind who the judges were then as they would not really be the deciding factor ...

I do not like the students having to vote ... it detracts from what they are supposed to be .... students

We'd have to make sure there were no cute boys or Irish singers. That man is irritating.

Even Lesley doesn't always get it right, because the other (last?) night Tricia screeched a high note very out of tune and Lesley said she'd hit it perfectly. (Not just my opinion of the note, because quite a few FMs commented on it.)

No, she doesn't always get it right, and I think as time's gone on during the competition she's become attached to the students, which has skewed her judgement quite a bit. But overall I still think she's a great person to have involved.

One of the faults I have with Lesley is that she compares people who are obviously very new to singing with the abiliites of people who have been singing for many many years. For example when she said that Angellica chose a really easy song and compared it with Tricia's difficult song to sing... obviously the learner is going to try to chose an easy song

The whole thing for me about CFA is that you get people who really can't sing and watch as they progress (or not). I think the judges take it a little too seriously and expect too much too quickly.

Also, yes I do agree with the person who remarked on that note that Tricia sang that sounded absolutely terrible but Lesley said she nailed.

To be honest, I don't see the problem with comparing people who've done a lot of singing with others who haven't. The whole point in a competition is that some will be better than others, after all. I also think different people have very different ideas of what the show 'should' be about. I love seeing people improve, but that includes those who could sing quite well at the beginning and can now sing very well.

I'd like them to swap over for a day.

Richard & Leslie coach the singing, & Craig do the early morning workout & choreography.

Then have Patrick, Claudia & Kevin as judges.

Carrie & David present the show.

Car crash tv assured.
