Not that I am one for idle gossip (perish the thought !) but according to today's 'Mirror' Nick Bateman has been pestering his ex-girlfriend Erika North, the 'Heart' radio station presenter, for a re-union. She turned him down (again) last week.

Nick, I am pleased to say, speedily recovered from his broken heart........yesterday's 'People' had the Salon's Sonya groping him in London's Cafe de Paris just a few days later !

That is precisely what was puzzling me. Clearly, the story is pure fabrication. If one was the groping kind, there would be no dilemma as to who the gropee should be.

Perhaps Sonya had 'groped' one large vodka too many? That might account for her poor aim.

I thought the suggestion in the same rag was that Alex was busy fighting off Catalina Guirado. Presumably Sonya had to settle for second best - although, if there were any other men there, probably tenth best is more appropriate for Nasty Nick - yuck.

Were thay ever an item though? I am not certain. Was it not more the case of each of them providing a little arm candy for each other when required?

Or even that they were both at the quiz night and she knew she was going into IACGMOH or was considering it and she cornered him for some advice. Some photographer took one picture and the hacks put a spin on a non story as they usually do. There was only one picture of them talking at the do.

It was spooky in here last night. I finished work after midnight and dropped by but the ketttle was cold, someone's hastily discarded knitting was on the floor and the elevated equine (high horse) looked very forlorn ... so I stole some thunder out of Eejay's locker and left.
