Personally I think it would be incredibly dull if it was a Shaun v Trisha affair and as things are heading I can see that being the case. Unless... the judges decide that it would be rather samey and save a lesser singer but perhaps someone who has been on a (here it comes ) journey.

Do you think that "they" would want that though?? I can't see it really can you? Surely it would not bring the votes in.

It would be very dull if it was Shaun and Tricia and I doubt I would bother watching it, I would love it to be Tara and Ray.

I'd like to see Colin and Tricia in the final. Don't want to hear about Tara's so-called 'emotional journey', don't care about Ray either way and Shaun's too obvious a choice plus already a good singer anyway.

Shaun and Trisha or Ray and Trisha or Ray and Shaun all of them would make a snorefest of a show

Definitely Shaun vs Tricia. I want Tara or Ray to win, but if Colin were in the final I'd be rooting for whoever else was there. I couldn't care less between Shaun and Tricia.

Well I was going to put Shaun and Tricia, but seeing your suggestion, that's even worse!

So I think I want a Tara and Ray final as I can't stand all the other possibilities.

I'm going with Shaun and Tricia too - 2 good singers, but not good enough to have earned a living from it - major yawnfest!

Most exciting - I'd like one of the 'singers' v's one of the 'non-singers'. My personal favorites would be Shaun (can sing, but the judges are just plain mean to him) v's Ray (can't sing, knows it, is trying to be entertaining and takes criticism very well).

Mind you, I think that TPT has this thing sown up!

Definately Tricia and Shaun - they are both taking it too seriously. They look like they are desperate to win and their constant plea for votes, especially Tricia's, makes me cringe. Shaun tries to play the cool, unbothered singer at times but you can see straight through it. Both are good singers, the best in the competition but I want more than that - I want to be entertained too.

I just find Ray hilarious. I don't think it's intentional on his part but he's so genuine and sweet. I also adore his song choices - Come Up and See Me, Wonderwall, Hit Me With Your Rythm Stick, Going Underground, The Sweetest Thing etc... That's the kind of music I like - not Something Inside So Strong or Feels Like I'm in Love. Tara is a bit of a train-wreck at the moment and it's impossible not to watch that. I think she would benefit most if she was to win this series. I think Colin is fantastic - love his song choices and his energy on stage. And he's a Liverpool fan.

Tricia and Ray for me :yawn: Tricia reminds me too much of Lulu and I cannot abide Lulu I don't understand the Ray love at all

A boring final would be to have Richard Park in as judge,

Shame C & T's song was better in rehearsal. But yeah, they'd be a surprise for the finale rather than the predictable Shaun/Tricia inevitability

I agree. I think a Colin/Tara final would at least be exciting given the bit of friction between them. Whereas I think I'll just switch off if it ends up being any of the other three combos

..The final last time was boring anyway as Fame Academy was completely buried amongst everything else going on with Comic Relief night.

How anybody could even think that last time there was a show at all, let alone a good final, is beyond me.

Don't expect a good final this time whoever is in the final.
Remember the last final and set your sights a lot lower then maybe you won't be disappointed.

I can't believe that after last time people are actually expecting a good final this year.

I agree - How dull if Tara's not there - I might even root for Colin if it's him versus Shaun or Tricia.

You are right of course it was a complete shambles, but that wasn't really what I was getting at.

It won't be a show as such on the final night anyway because it is is amongst the main Comic Relief show.

I think as it is a totally different audience on the main night, people will want to see a really good show with good singers or really good performances.

I might be wrong but I do think more people would vote in a final between Shaun and Trisha than they would in a final between say, Shaun and Colin but then I think it would be a massive vote off between Tara and Trisha.

What the BBC should have done tonight is put one person with the most votes through and then put the 2nd person through based on who has raised the most money throughout the whole show. AFter all, it is about raising the most amount of money possible.
