Tara is far and away my favourite, and even though her voice might not be technically as good as Tricia's or Shaun's, it's much more interesting.

But I fear for her tonight. As someone already said, she needs to avoid being in the bottom three.

- If she's in the bottom three, then the only way I see her being saved by the judges is if she's up against Ray and Colin.

- Assuming she's not saved, then I think she will lose the student vote when up against anyone, except possibly Colin.

- Even against Colin, we might find that the "Weakest Link" tactical voting mentality will take over, with Tricia and Shaun voting against her, especially if her performance is quirky, which would give them an excuse. Apart from Ray, I think they're all capable of voting tactically (Tara included).

Surely there must come a time - tomorrow at the latest, hopefully - when the student vote is stopped, and they go purely on the public vote. Otherwise tactical voting will spoil the spirit of what is supposed to be a charity event.

As I already said on another thread, Tara has to win the public vote, or she will be toast. I cannot see the judges or the students saving her now.

There is no way she would be saved against Trisha or Shaun, unless they really fail to impress on the night and Tara performs out of her skin. Then there is a very small chance one of them might, probably Craig and Richard.

As for the student vote. I think she has an equal chance with Colin, but I think if she were against Ray she would probably lose.

I would be expecting the worse if she was not automatically saved, so its important we get our votes in nice and early

Yep, it was your comment I was referring to, but I couldn't remember the particular thread you'd put it in. Until I read it, I hadn't thought that TPT was in so much danger of being voted out, but you're right, she is indeed in a precarious position.

OK, it's not a life or death situation, but I really do want her to win it, for her sake and for the sake of Comic Relief.

To be honest, I love Tara but I think she is gone tonight But she has done exceptionally well and exceded my expetations on how well she would do and raised a lot of money in the process

I really would love to see Tara win and wish I could afford to vote more than I am doing. Last night she not only had my nights votes, but tonight's too. She will be having tomorrows votes tonight and if she gets to the final, I will be voting with the next RTV's voting money.

All her fans need to dig deep and vote and if her folks/family could run up their phone bills too, it would be great.

I agree about the fear but two things - why don't you think Ray votes tactically - there is no reason to think any different. Shaun and Tricia would vote for Tara over Ray because they know he is rubbish.

I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing, but all of the judges on the other show want her in the final with Tricia. Richard Parks wants her in it with Shaun. Well at least they see her as a potential winner. Whether that goes good or bad for her with the public vote, who knows
