Not really. I thought Colin's main individual performance was sh*t.
So it obviously benefited him to be seen with other singers or performers who could boost him up a bit.

The 'Ring of Fire' song he did last night was the biggest gimmick I've seen on FA this year. With the big video screen of a massive fiery ring in the middle which he felt the need to literally point out to us during his performance just in case we couldn't see it. Hey they even had all the steps showing videos of fire on them for him. All that was missing was a firework display and a big explosion at the end.

If it isn't a big pyrotechnic display then it's showing him shmoozing amongst the company of much better singers or performers.

On his own, his own actual singing is monotone and dull.

There are never enough firework displays and big explosions, are there? And his singing *is* a bit crap, isn't it? You'd almost think he was a rank amateur just enjoying it and helping to raise money for charity.

If I was living with Anthea Turner I'd wait until she cleaned all the house, then casually walk into the kitchen, pull down my trousers and pants, then have a shit right in the middle of the kitchen floor.

I bet her hubby does that every day to try and get the message across only she probably relishes cleaning up after him

I don't think it's us you need to say this to. I think you should try and sneak a message to colin and remind him this is what he is supposed to be there for and then maybe he'd stop putting so many people off by taking it so seriously

I actually remember looking at that "Ring of fire" and thinking "Oh boy is this the best the BBC can do: The simplest and most obvious cliché in the book" You expect that at a holiday camp but not when you are the BBC with stage design technicians getting paid £1000s and a set that run into the Hundreds of thousands. And all you can think of is a ring of fire!

Colin ain't the one taking it seriously. Seriously.

He comes across as taking it to seriously to me and even the "and this is comic relief" comment was giving with aggression. I'm not a fan of colin and i can guess you are so i don't think we are seriously going to agree on this lol

It certainly has potential with Jonathon and a couple of the others around but tbh I`m finding it hard to follow and the Beeb keep throwing the most obvious props in.

Doesn't look like it, does it I'm not so much "a fan" of Colin as defending someone who is being unfairly attacked. Sure, he can come across as cocky and over-confident, but he's not - I assure you - a rude or aggressive person, especially when it comes to a charity event like this.

Anyway. You don't like him for whatever reason and that's your issue. We agree to disagree, i guess
