She was thinking about doing Jolene or Boots and I think she's decided on Boots as at the end of the live feed yesterday she was hanging up the dress she wore when she did Boots.

Oh thanks guys.

Should be great. A nice combination with Penny Lane and that plus we have the duet with Colin, which should pull in plenty of votes bearing in mind it is Back for Good.

I am feeling quite optomistic that she will get the votes needed to get to the final, which is worrying in itself

She needs the most votes to ensure she stays ..... anything less than that, chances are she is out ... (especially if 2 are leaving tonight)

Only one person gets through on the public vote right?? and the the next two are voted on by the ex-students??

That would mean it would come down to 11 votes??

Only one gets through on the ex students' vote - there's two in the final. If I'm calculating it right it will come down to 10 votes - hope RP doesn't get the casting vote in the event of a tie

As we both said yesterday Tara might do quite well out of the ex-student vote

Yes it is not all over if she does not get the most votes, particulary if she is against Colin.

13 students started
4 are left

9 ex-students+ tonights winner = 10

The question is will the ex-student vote apply to the remaining 3 or just the top two of the remaining 3. If the latter is true then the student vote may come down to 11 votes.

Colin is singing "Unchained Melody" as of 8am this morning. It could change, but that song is just SO overdone hopefully it'll work against him.

I'd like to see Tara v Trish or Shaun in the final.

Tara vs Shaun for me, I just don't warm to Tricia at all, although I admit she can sing. However, I'll survive so long as Colin's not in the final, I really can't stand him!

Yup,that's pretty much where I stand I'd marginally rather have Shaun than Trish.

Tara v Shaun for me, Colin would be my stand-by, I just don't like Tricia.

In a way I would like Tara v Colin for the rivalry factor. However, I would ideally not like Colin to get that far so would opt for Tara v Barry from Eastenders

I don't want to worry when the judges said on the BBC3 show last night who they wanted in the final Parky said Shaun and Tara.

Lesley said Shaun and Tricia
Craig said Tara and Tricia

I really think if it's on singing alone, then Shaun should go through, but if we're talking personality then Tara is my choice. I disliked her so much before this and am now taking it all back. As long as colin goes tonight, all is right with the world!

No doubt Lesley will be doing everything she can to promote Tricia and Shaun, but I hope the final is between Tara and Colin.

Not sure about 'Boots' as the choice - it wasn't her best vocal but it did have tremendous performance value though - will it work again? I think on balance I would have gone for something more fragile - if she gets through can she do 'Jolene' in the final?
