Hi

Is there anyway in which you can record from other sources eg. Video or DVD through the Goodmans PVR freeview or digihome freeview hard drive recorder boxes.

no, a pvr will only record the freeview /digital signal the tuners recieve, you cannot record from another source, you would need a dvd/hdd recorder to do this.

you can record from the pvr to a dvd or hdd recorder

But despite the claim it is definitely a dual record machine. It's the multimedia version of the DVR series, this one being DVR64250T I think.

"Watch one record one" is used nowadays to describe all twin tuners, even if they can also dual-record.

You can also upload mp3's to it, and although they didn't demonstrate it I think it will read memory cards as well.

watch one record one means you can watch another freeview channel while recording, or you can record two and watch something from the library, i use to have a sagem and both models i had recorded two, but they were a piece of carp. just read the sagem forum lol.
