EE - Michael (David Wicksy) French
Ok, I'm killing time at work & thought of Michael French & what's happened to him since Born & Bred & Holby City, I'm a big fan yu see!
Well I found out who his agent is, ICM Ltd, & called them & spoke to someone who informed me that he's taking a break & that there's nothing in the pipeline!! Oh I'm so disappointed!

Wicksy was Simon, David Wicks was just David never Wicksy. Unless you're hoping for both?

Much as I love Michael French & his David Wicksy character I doubt very much he'll be returning anytime soon back to EE.
I think he's left that show well behind him now. Michael French is an adventurous actor & always go for varied & challenging roles which he said so himself is what being an actor is all about for him. Just look at so many projects he's been involved in since EE....so many & that also included being back on West End Stage several times. I think if ever there was a programme he should go back to is Holby City...would have like Born & Bred but that series is now dead & buried when he left. But anyway he should just have a new series because anything he touches becomes a great hit!

He went back to Holby for 30k so I think he would go back to EE for the same. Thing is with big actors. They only need to work so many days a year and then they are set up for the next 12 months money wise. Look at Ross Kemp I never thought he would go back but once again - money talks!

Ross kemp is very lucky he has EE eating outt the palm of his hands. They come running to him and offer him money to get him back for these periods of time! I wish hed come back soon though!! Jane needs him.... |

I'd much rather see him back in Holby City than EastEnders.

Did he leave to go to Holby City? He probably doesn't want to come back to EE.

Yeah, bring David and Simon back. Come to think of it, David and Simon were never on EE together were they?

He (Michael French) left Eastenders because he loathed it! How do I know, well, I met him when I was an extra in a one off programme he did called 'The Fabulous Bagel Boys' I had dinner with him on a bus being used for cast and crew.
I've heard him mention it on some late night show or other too. He was very nice. It was to become a series, but he got Holby, Dennis Lawson was also in the one off, he ended up I think in Casualty, and Alex Norton, also in 'Bagel' got the part of the DCI in Taggart shortly after. |

Wonder why Michael French hated it. He did have some weird storylines though, remember when he rang the Samaritans 'cos he was getting obsessed with Bianca in an unhealthy way?
