Stella walks in on Ben tending to his burn mark. Stella puts a plaster on the 'injury' just as Peggy enters the kitchen. Ben tells her that he scratched himself. Phil returns and Peggy mentions that Ben and Abi have fallen out. Phil, meanwhile, asks Stella to move back in, much to the horror of Ben. Later, Stella is thrown when she sees Tanya walking out of the Vic kitchen after speaking to Phil and the previous day's events. Phil tells Ben that he comes first and that he must say if he doesn't get on with Stella.

Meanwhile, Kevin is still trying to speak with Denise after Shirley's public speech in the Vic the night before. He later proposes to Denise, diamond ring in-hand. Kevin walks in just as Denise puts the ring on her finger and can't get it off again. Kevin sees the ring and the pair bicker, forcing Denise to reveal that she thinks they should give marriage a go. Shirley's disappointed when she hears the news.

Elsewhere, Max tells Stacey that he wants to move to a villa with her; Dawn tells Rob that she doesn't want to live alone; and Billy's disappointed that he isn't the main breadwinner in the house anymore and comes up with a business plan.

Looks good tonight, but then again I say that before every episode (very rarely disappointed though....).

Looking forward to see how the Stella and Ben storyline develops. Hopefully Dawn/Rob/May and STAX storylines are given a back seat tonight.

Cheer up Stacey, you will never have Max. Just admit it and get back with Bradley

Honey gives us the shock news that most supermarket foods are full of adjectives.

On the good side, I hear they are great for keeping your vowels regular.

And just when I thought the episode was going to improve, up pops THAT storyline

Luckily, Rob and Dawn were only on the screen for a few minutes. The storyline works a hell of a lot better when it's little and often, especially after going on for so long.

Stacey looks nice. Shame she's wasting it on Max.

Why would Stella play such a dangerous game knowing that Ben's father is Phil. She knows what his reputation is like!

Don't believe his bullcrap Stacey. You'll be better off with Bradley.

Thing is, Kevin and Denise could be a nice happy couple, but that wouldn't make for very entertaining viewing in the writer's eyes.

Once again, the Stella/Ben storyline the highlight of the night.

Good episode, slipped a bit in the middle with THOSE 2 storylines but picked up slowly at the end so 7/10
