NEW Champion of Champions info: voting etc
Me!
16-03-2007
Gaynor Faye, Stefan Booth and Bonnie Langford have been sharpening their skates and practising their performances to rejoin former skating partners, Daniel, Kristina & Matt to take on this year’s rivals . Each couple will be competing against each other to be crowned Dancing on Ice Champion of Champions.

Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean will take to the ice for once last spectacular performance for 2007, with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willowby presenting as the six couples battle it out on the ice. Will last year’s winner Gaynor Faye be able to regain her original crown for a second year? Or will this year’s skating stars have raised the bar too high?

The judges scores and the publics votes will be combined and the two couples with the HIGHEST overall scores will skate again in the results show skate-off.

The vote lines will reopen for the public to decide who should be crowned Dancing on Ice - The Champion of Champions.

Sounds fab. Is it still going to be a brand new performance by Jayne and Chris. I hope it is. I have loved all their performances this year.

hi is it one show?

do you mean one show as in they skate we vote while we watch them and we have the result and result and skate off in that show? If you do then no it is not one show because i think it is exactly the same format as every other week but previous celebs coming back.
If you mean one show as in is it on for only one week then yes!

Me too ... the only two from the Top 3 of each year that have yet to perform Bolero live on the show.

Personally I am getting a bit sick of the Bolero!! Is it only me, enough already!! I think it is a foregone conclusion that Kyran will win this Champion of Champions Show as he is the only one to have managed to get 6s for his skating. I will watch the show anyway, well tape it as I am away the weekend!! I think Kyran will be a great TV presenter/celeb as he is quite a find and people like him, especially as he seems to be so normal, married to a lovely wife and has two kids, no gossip or scandle about him and he comes across well on the telly. I can see a media career for him.

Did you not see the final! Claire got four sixes in her first performance and 1 six for her second!

How can they call this show Champions of Champions when there are only just 2 champions who can just do a skate off fullstop!

In any case I don't care who wins as long as it's not horsefaced Gaynor...she didn't deserve to win last year & certainly does not deserve it this time.

The technical standard and skills shown by CLare, Kyran, & Duncan last week was much superior than what Gaynor, Bonnie, & Stefan produced last year with Stefan I think better than the 2 women & should have been the winner imo.

I agree, but there's no accounting for the fans!

I'm very tired of Bolero. It also seems very dated.

I'm glad i'm not the only one who thinks this!! It seems that they are really pushing this as the ultimate thing to do! In reality it happened years ago and to be fair the contestants only have to do the start and end of it so it is nothing like the real one anyway!!

I love Bolero and I don't feel its dated ........ however I don't think it should ever have been used on this type of programme its only magical with JC ....... they should try other routines such as Cecilia, Venus etc.... which also earned T&D sixes in the WTC and WPC
