It wouldn't surprise me if it's true. She seems a very big hearted person.

That is the kind of thing you'd expect tara to do. I don't think prince charles would come in anyway with the size of his ears it would be to painful for him

Aw thats really nice of her, you'd expect her to be a bit snooty due to her background but she doesnt seem like that to me now.

lol I still want Tricia to win though!

On the BBC3 show someone sent an email to say that she wanted Tara to win as her car had broken down once in the rain and Tara had picked her and her daughter up and brought them to the school.

There was this beggar outside Burger King, tara bought a meal and gave it to him as she left. She was so taken with his gratitude that she decided to 'give him a chance'. She drove him to a top hotel booked him in so he could clean himself up and gave him £200 telling him he could either spend it on the mini bar, or use it to try and get himself some decent clothes and get back on his feet. Nice lady.

It certainly was... that last line rather gives away the reporter's feelings!

So do I.

But it sounds just like Tara to me and good on 'er.

I shouldn't think she would want it being in the news either, it wouldn't be just for publicity.

I wouldn't. By what I've seen and read about her she sees her background and the perception of her background as a hindrance. She seems to strive to be accepted as an ordinary person just like anyone else. In reality she is much nice than most "ordinary" people.

To be fair to Ananova (the website) they often write like that but I think its genuine - they tend to be nice about celebs when celebs do nice things! (Or maybe I always take it that way!)

I would like her money and family connections!! You can be generous when you can afford a holiday villa in the snow, and another holiday villa in the sun!! She has no idea what "ordinary" is!!

Of course she has no idea how poor some of us have had to live. Is that her fault?

Most of the greatest world politicians weren't poor..they had privilege in having given good education etc...but there were many more that went from rags to riches and to make good.

What I'm trying to say is that how can you reverse and rob someone who already has had the privileges of being rich and indulged?

You simply can't. It's impossible.

So what can that rich spoilt and over-indulged person do to try and understand and empathise with the other half?

They can do what Tara has tried to do and at least try to gain an understanding to her wherewithal.

Credit to her for putting herself in the public eye in the first place (where most of us poor people are) and for at least trying to understand her own extravagent lifestyle and how things have came so easy to her.

Sure she is priveleged in that she has had the luxury of being a target by media to do shows like this, but on the otherhand had she not done the shows that she has, how else would we learn how the spoilt brats of the upper class really live.

Can you see Prince William going on a show like this? No, of course not (although I bet he would love to)...but Tara is as close as in terms of privelege and I think we should respect what she has revealed of herself...whether or not you like her.
