There are loads of annoying songs but in recent times has to be tinie tempah's new one, where he namechecks jk rowling and russell brand, just insipid, pandering lyrics that make no sense. Most of his songs are like that, as if he just sits there and wonders what rhymes with what and puts it together without it making any sense, at least good rap puts things into context

There is quite a bit of rubbish out these days but the Zara Larrson lush life tune is really good a nice catchy dance summary track with a decent little baseline in my opinion anyway.

I refuse to believe that the most annoying song EVER was from the 50s/60s/70s or 80s.

That "Let's Marvin Gaye and get it on" infantile noisy crap.

Would have to say it's between "Disco Duck", "Mother of Mine", "No Charge" or "One Day At A Time" from the 70s. The trouble is, these songs regularly pop into my head and stay for hours at a time! There's also a song called "Honey" from the late 60s or early 70s which is a definite contender. "See this tree how big it's grown..." ARRRGGGHHHH!!!

Oooh, yes, reading through this thread, I must add "Seven Years Old" from the modern day. I hate this! Soon I'll be thirty years old... soon I'll be sixty years old... shut your gob, lad, and just get on with living. I can't decide which of my worst tunes is THE worst....

Just listened to Lukas Graham's "Seven Years" track and discovered he's only twenty seven years old. Definitely the most annoying track. Trumps anything from my cheesy 70s youth.
