Hello!

I was at the science museum yesterday! and i mansged to see some filming on coronation street! it was great!!

In the new family's back garden, The Mortons, there were 'Happy 18th' banners up around the garden!

Then on the street itself i saw, Janice, Sally kelly sean and Fizz (plus a couple of extras) all standing outside the factory.

There was also an ambulance in the street! and it was there for a while and kept driving up and down! and it stopped outside the factory! also there was about 3 policemen that then went into the factory!

Then on our way back in to manchester to catch the bus home, we walked past the Granada studio's main entrance, and at the gate where all the corrie actors go in, we saw Mike Baldwin, then sally came out and was chatting to Mike! then they walked off together! Don't know what Mike Baldwin was doing there!! maybe just saying hello to his fellow friends!

I just thought i would share this with you all!!

And Mike Baldwin outside the gates? Is he haunting the place????

i didnt thing this was open to the public anymore

I've tried going into the museum myself but can never find the right place to look out of to view the street.

You have to go into the museum!(which is free) go to the top floor and if you look out the windows, it overlooks the street!

I couldn't see anyone getting in the ambulance! so don't know who it was for!! but the police were going in to the factory!!



Also i forgot to mention in my other message i saw Kevin, Tyrone and David aswell!!!!!

Kool, I would love to see the set and take pics and stuff

I went round the tour when it was open at about 6 years old. Now though, I'm bored in crappy Leeds..

You should have had a mobile phone camera, or was it to far to film.

I was at the sci museum on tue - wish i knew you could see corrie. i would hae gone and looked. grrrr!!!

I remember seeing The Street a few years ago from the Science Museum...it was really cool!

Although, it looks so much smaller in real life. I also stood at the gates to get some autographs as they came out.

Johnny Briggs recently said that he was still really good friends with some of the cast, and that they all got on really well together.

That sounds so cool - him and Sally walking off together!

where is the street filmed then?!

The Street is still filmed on the Granada "back lot" behind the Granada TV centre in Manchester. It used to be part of the Granada studios tour and is basically "real scale".

I did get some pictures, but there was a sign up saying don't take photo's and if you do then they will be copywrighted! so i havn't posted them on here! as i don't want to get into trouble!! unless you think it would be ok???

but there was loads of other people taking pics! so i wasn't on my own!!

I have a feeling that it could be something to do with the Polish girl and a trick that is played by the rest of the girls. Mind you, I could be wrong!
