The Final Show Times
According to BBC-the shows are at 7.40 and 9.50 tonight.
I was checking as I was totally unsure when within the entire Comic Relief show FA was on! I heard rumours lines close at 7.45 but i seriously doubt that that is true-lines will be open throughout I would imagine. Of course these times are liable to change-as Comic Relief always runs late so chances are the two show times will not be accurate! |

i see what you mean on the front page it says 7.30 and 9pm-
but if you click on BIG NEWS the first box says 7.40 and 9.50! Were just going to have to watch it and wait for it until whenever it comes on! |

I've just been looking at my tv guide (TV Easy) and there is no mention whatsoever of Fame Academy tonight! How appalling. It just says 7.30 Harry Hill's TV Burp, 8pm Creature Comforts, 8.30 Russell Brand and Dennis Waterman in Little Britain, 9pm Chris Evans and Davina McCall etc etc. How appalling is that. F.A. about FA!

Did I hear it right at the end, the presenter said "Don't forget the voting lines close at 6.30pm?????" That will mean the performances tonight aren't important at all, it will be based on what we've seen so far.

![]() A bit confusing, as a lot of people prefer to wait to vote until after they have performed. I'm taking no chances and placing my Tara votes now.

There was only about thirty seconds between the end of the last finalists song and lines closing in 2005 IIRC (text lines may have stayed open longer). I said before this series began that I hoped the final would be on the Thursday (they could still have eliminated two) and announced the winner on RND. Start with a reprise of the Thursday night show songs and vote offs, then they could show "best bits" packages for the remaining finalists, annopunce the winner, some comments from finalists, "staff" and judges, the winner could perform a victory song, plus a general highlights package to finish the show.
The 2005 final was a real let down and I expect this one to be the same. Last edited by IanP : 16-03-2007 at 17:31. |

You would think they would get their house in order , regarding voting .
All the stories on vote rigging , hardly inspires confidence , does it ! ! Only a tiny percentage will of seen the CBBC prog , the main voters won't tune in till 7pm . If the lines do close at 6.30 pm , then they have no business giving out the voting numbers , on the live show . Just hope we all heard right ![]() Edit The lines are apparently still open Last edited by lops : 16-03-2007 at 18:48. |

Would it really have cost them to have set aside the first 30-45 minutes to Fame Academy?
